Get Carter (2000)
You really dont want to know Jack Carter
I thought this was going to be typical action garbage with Sly in a normal role with his garbage acting. Well, I was half right. Sly is garbage but this movie is horendous. It feels like it is longer then Lord of the Rings. It is so bad with so many unexplained characters in it that i thought I was watching a high school movie project. The movie is what I like to call bad. Terrible. Trash. Dear God Sly start writing another sequel to Saturday Night Fever if you want some fans back. Yeah that will do it.
Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993)
You have got to be kidding me
This movie sucks. I hate it. If heavan is playing this movie no stop because God is a Jason fan then I am going to proudly march my ass to hell because this is one of the worst movies ever made. The fact that this movie is currently voted a 3.8 is amazing. How anyone could vote over 1 is just flat out unbelievable. Sean S. Cunningham is on my SH&* list because of this series. I hate him and everything that he stands for. GOD!!! This movie sucks.
House of 1000 Corpses (2003)
THE WORST MOVIE EVER!!!
I went to see this, against my will, and i swear to god that it is the worst movie that I have ever laid my eyes on. The story, if you want to call it that makes no sense. I have wracked my brain, trying to figure out who read this and thought it was going to be a good movie. If you have eight dollars that you are willing to spend, please for your own good, set it on fire and then pee on the ashes because the amount of entertainment that you get out of that will far surpass the amount of pleasure you will get from viewing this POS.
100 Girls (2000)
One of the best teen movies I have ever...of all time!!
The first time i saw this film, it was 4 in the morning. I had no idea what it was about but i didnt care. I sat there and watched it. I swear to god i couldnt have been more surprised if i would have found 12 bodies in john wayne gassys basement. Th main character thinks just the way that i do, which i am sorry to say is in a pathetic, movieland kind of way. I swear that you dont have to be an immature teen to enjoy this movie. The best comedy i have ever...of all time.
Punch-Drunk Love (2002)
P.T. Anderson at is best
When I got a cance to see this movie, I tried to keep my expectations low. P.T. Anderson is a great writer and director. Even though many of his fans were disappointed in his last movie, magnolia, I loved it. People were expecting something else. The length of the film was the biggedt problem. But this is a 90-minute masterpiece. As soon as the film began, I was hooked. Even though I was nevous that Adam Sandler would pull a Jim Carrey and go into serious films just to get the oscar, I thought he would be good. He wasn't good...he was great. The casting of Adam Sandler was genius. And having him wear the same suit throughout the whole film is equally genius. If you like situations that seem to be unthinkable but yet are totally real at the same time then you will like this movie. Philip Seymour Hoffman made me laugh so hard I thought I was going to die. The direction is fantastic. Camera angles and camera movements in this movie are unlike anything that I have ever seen. P.T. Anderson should get an oscar for his beautiful images. All I can do is hope that the academy is not too stuck up to give it to him. Adam Sandler will now come out of the shadow of Little Nicky and into the spotlight of Punch Drunk Love.
Batman & Robin (1997)
It really isnt that bad
This isn't a horrible film. The action is over the top, the script is terrible, the acting is lame, and the story is ridiculous. But this is a Batman movie people. What the hell did you expect? I thought I was watching the old television show for a second. The action is so stupid and the characters so dull that nobody likes this movie. This isn't trying to win oscars. This is a movie were you can sit down and laugh and enjoy yourself for two hours. Cut these people a break.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
Brain operations take less then this
This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I went to the theater and got excited when I saw the opening sequence. It showed the history o the ring and what it was. They also had a battle that we didnt get to see enough of. Then the pace slows down. NO...IT COMES TO A HALT!!! I looked at m watch every five seconds. This movie is bad. Fans of the book love it but guess what? The book was trash too. Please, if you have three hours of your life to throw away, go and watch men working at a construction site. It is more entertaining then this garbage.
Adaptation. (2002)
Yeah...I Like that
This is one of the best films I have ever viewed. The fact that Charlie Kaufman can get anyone to relate to this story is great. I can get a bum off the strret and he will think that it is a great movie. I only wish that I could write about my life the way that he does because that is the way that it is.
Day of the Dead (1985)
George Romero's haunting final masterpiece
This is without a doubt the best of the living dead series. It puts closure to the story. The ending caps off the greatest, GREATEST, trilogy in the history of modern film. George Romero says that this is his favorite living dead movie for a reason...it is the best. This movie can only be challenged by the later day classic Return of the Living Dead Part 2. But if you are a fan of the living dead series, have news for you. George Romero has turned the keys to the kingdom over to the best young film maker today. Shooting begins this christmas for...Dusk of the Dead. Let us all hope and pray that it is as good as this engenius piece of film.
8 Mile (2002)
Good movie with no real point
This was a good movie to sit through and enjoy. The acting was good, yes it really was. Curtis Hansen is a great director. But the story has no real ending. If this is Eminem's life story then I was not impressed. I have seen better endings in a muppet babies show. I can not believe that this is being considered for the Academy Awards. The acting was good but by no means was it great. If Curtis Hansen was directing me, I could have done just as good. And considering Eminem is playing, pretty much, himself, he shouldnt get an oscar nomination.
Titanic (1997)
WAY TOO LONG
Did anyone else read the script? My god, what was the academy thinking? In one of the best years in film history, they gove this the best picture. It should be noted that this is one of the most expensive movies of all-time and that even though it had a great set, the acting is pathetic. For 200 million dollars they could have got a decent cast. And then there is Gloria Stewart. She made me want to cry because I paid eight bucks to see her on film. This is a one demensional movie that at its very best should have won maybe two awards and pull down a box-office of like 200 million. Three hours plus is painfully long for this kind of film. Dear God, I wanted to jump too.
Vanilla Sky (2001)
Open your eyes to one of the best made films of all-time
This is what we go to the movies to see. I heard the buzz about this movie and I went to see it on christmas day. This was the best gift that I could have recieved. The film left me speechless. Despite what some people may say, this film is not hard to follow. I have a harder time trying to understand what Randall John Conway, Jr. is saying when he talks to me. If you pay attention to detail, then you will love it. Tom Cruise gives one of his best performances, other then Jerry Maguire and All the Right Moves. I am so glad that this movie was made because it has so much to say to anybody that is worth talking too.
Killjoy (2000)
More pathetic than Randy Conway
This is with out a doubt one of the worst movies ever made. Why did any film studio make this movie? IT IS SOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!! I wanted to go out in the streets and riot after viewing this disgrace to humanity. If I ever try and submit a script to this film studio, I am bringing this one with me. If they decline to make my movie, I will just say look at what you made? I would rather watch the grass grow for the next five years of my life or drive down a dirt road with Randy Conway with rap music playing then watch this again.
Punch-Drunk Love (2002)
P.T. Anderson at is best
When I got a cance to see this movie, I tried to keep my expectations low. P.T. Anderson is a great writer and director. Jason X (2001)
Let the bodies hit the floor
I went to the theater expecting to sit there with my friends and make fun of this movie. We even went in the afternoon because we didn't want to pay 8 dollars to see it. But after the first scene of the movie are laughter was silenced. We were captivated by it. The plot is so interesting and SO believable. It is the best Jason movie to date. I can only hope that they decide to make another one and that it is as good as this one.
Carpool (1996)
Tom Arnold is the next big thing
After I saw Big Bully, I never thought I would see a better comedic performance. But I am glad to say that Tom Arnold proved me wrong. The rest of the cast just sits back and goes along for the ride in this film. David Paymer works so well with Tom Arnold that I wouldn't be surprised to see them as the next Abbot and Castello. This movie hits on all cylinders. 10 out of 10.
A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child (1989)
The best you can get
This movie is without a doubt the best of the nightmare series. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. The best part about this movie is that it is shorter than a wrestling match between Brian Gavazzi ad Bryan Hanlon. It gts me in and then it blows you away in every way a movie can. Freddy is one of the greatest characters in cinema history and its good to see that he is still alive and well.
Se7en (1995)
Around...I'll be around
This is one of the most methodic films that I have ever seen. From the opening scenes before the credits to the tense climax, this film keeps it's pace and it's audience on the edge of there seats. The final line of this film always give me goosebumps, although they were ripped off in the Alex Nauman Classic "Wash the Spider Out". Although the actor in that film, Tanny Deliere, gives a much better performance than Morgan Freeman and Shannon Koenig is only slightly hotter than Mrs. Paltrow, this is amuch more original film.
Red Dragon (2002)
Before the silence there was more to say
I saw this copy of the film for a very big price. Ray Fiennes is going to get the academy award for best supporting actor. He is a great villan. Anthony Hopkins and Edward Norton are fantastic as usually. This is one of the best casts ever put together. I haven't seen a better role for Harvy Kietel since Copland. He plays a much better Jack Crawford than Scott Glenn. Fans of the book maybe disaapointed in this film. Thomas Harris painted a much darker picture but there is no denying the energy that flows from the actors. A must see for all horror fans
Boogie Nights (1997)
The Greatest Movie of All-Time
Paul Thomas Anderson is without a doubt the greatest screenwriter/director tat has ever made a movie. This movie isn't even about the porno. It is about these great characters that move through the hardest times in american history. When bad things are happening to them, the adience feels bad with them. And every single situation that takes place, no matter how ridiculous, seems completely real. P.T. Anderson is a god when it comes to film. No one can make a scene feel and look the same way he can. From a Dirk Diggler meeting Reed Rothchild for the first time to seeing Todd Parker get blown away, P.T. makes us care about every single one of them
Can't Buy Me Love (1987)
A breath-taking masterpiece
This film is what i would like to call stunning. Not one film in the year 1987, not even Some Kind of Wonderful, had the emotion that this film has. When I saw this for the first time, I had to fight back tears...because i was laughing so hard. This cast screams oscar and I am shocked that The Last Emporor took home the best picture award that year.
