WOW!INTENSE!
21 February 2003
This is an excellent werewolf flick! A nail biter for sure. Werewolf looks great and packs an intense punch that will leave you wanting more! Michael Pare is very good. This is one of his better films. Acting is solid and the direction is right on. A winning hit for wolfman fans! I highly recommend this to people who love scary, wolfy type movies. I hit this baby with a 10 spot!! Check it out!!

BUDGET! WHAT BUDGET?!
10 February 2003
Wow! This film is a complete stinker. Not just part of a stinker, but the whole darn deal! This thing doesn't even deserve to be called cheesy. Monster is viscious but lame. Bad acting all around and there isn't one character you like. You're actually glad to see them whacked by the creature. This thing looked cheaper then my uncles home movies of his vacation to the Ozarks. I've seen high school plays with bigger budgets. My recommendation is to not waste your time. I usually like extras on DVD's...but in this case I was very thankful there wasn't anything extra. Although a documentary about the director getting ran out of town would be nice. Oh well...that's it...pass by this one on the rental shelf.

Cool Behind The Scenes Look
8 February 2003
This is a neat little feature. Gives a good look at what goes on behind the scenes of making a film. Gives you some insight into the directors vision through drawings, and preperation. Fun to watch if you have a little time after watching the main film. Check it out!

If Love Cheap And Chessy...
7 January 2003
If you love cheap and chessy movies, this little beauty is for you. I love these kinds of films, and this one has a fond spot in my heart. I remember it from 1977. Snuggled up on the soffa with my teenie girl squeeze. This was a cool night for a 14 year old dude. This film is fun with some pretty good moments. This beast did get hit with the ugly stick, big and bad. Maybe that's why it's so ticked off. I found this film as part of a triple feature DVD for under $10.00. And it's well worth the time to look back at a cheap and chessy 70's monster flick. I won't give anything away. I do recommend that you check it out. Plus it's kinda cool to see all the old tv actors from yesterday's gone by. Clint Walker and Bo Svenson are fun to watch. Take care and ENJOY!!

The Best Film Yet For Star Trek Franchise
24 December 2002
Star Trek Nemesis kicks some butt this time around. This one is actually the best one to date. It's got action as well as an interesting plot. The cast is aging, but they still fit in well with the whole Star Trek series. I really couldn't believe that they killed of the beloved Data. THEY KILLED DATA! Not to mention the bad guy is a clone of Captain Picard as a young man. This is warped! Still good but warped. Check this baby out!

Get The Large Can Of Raid!
7 December 2002
Here it is! The one and only THEM! This was one of the first mutant bug films to be released in the 1950's. It's probably the best of all of them. Great cast and cool giant ants. This film still has some great moments despite being nearly 48 years old. So pop up the corn and turn down the lights. This film is a lot of fun. And the next time you squash a little ant on the kitchen counter, just keep in mind the giant ants of...THEM!

Bad Movies Can Be Fun
18 October 2002
Troma is famous for it's bad movies. This one is right up there. But it's still fun to watch. The creature is actually pretty cool looking. If this film ever got the big budget treatment, it could have a fighting chance. Just think of all the people who like their shot at making a film. These people got their shot. More than most can say. This film is fun. So check it out. You could do worse.

Excellent Action
28 September 2002
The Transporter has me wanting to see action films again. 2002 has been a pretty good year for action films, but this one just helps push the bar a little further. The action scenes are awesome. It's always good to see something a little different. This film will deliver a direct hit to the action film lovers heart. Plus the gorgeous girl helps as well. Do check this film out when it opens nation wide. Kudos all around!

Office Space (1999)

So Real To Life
22 September 2002
Office Space is one of the funniest comedies ever made! And it's so true to life. At my job I notice a lot of the same things. Like the guy who does nothing but walk around with a coffee mug all day. What a hoot. This is a cute little film that doesn't rely on the usual comedy tricks to score. It stars good old Iowa boy Ron Livingston and that little cute as a button babe Jennifer Aniston. This is one of her better performances. If you haven't paid a visit to the office, please visit Office Space. You won't be sorry you did.

DAVID FINCHER RULES
21 September 2002
David Fincher has done it! He has brought the film world one heck of a suspense thriller. This film is top notch. It grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go once. It's nearly everyones worst nightmare brought to film. If you haven't seen it...CHECK IT OUT NOW! The cast is top notch and they deliver this film right to the center of the target. I have to admit that I've never been a big fan of Jodie Foster. But she has finally won me over with her powerful performance in this 2002 smash hit. The Panic Room is excellent all the way. And if you watch this film at night, you just might check your whole house before you go to bed. Check out, and sweet dreams.

Avoid!!!
21 September 2002
This would be the worst piece of trash ever made...that is if some idiots hadn't went and made a bunch of sequels. This truly shows that any bozo can go out and make a movie. If you haven't seen this film...don't waste your time. And don't waste your money renting this junk. This film and it's follow ups are the true meaning of poor taste!!

Prom Night (1980)

Wow! What stinks? Is that a skunk or just Prom Night!
21 September 2002
What a turkey. I only gave it a two because of Jamie Lee Curtis. If you want a good horror film, pass over this thing and get Halloween. Prom Night is just one of the many horrible Halloween knock offs. And a lot of the others are even worse. Even with Jamie in them. I really wish I could pick out one good moment, but there isn't any. Well, maybe Leslie Nielsen. But that would still be pushing it. Somebody please take out the trash...and kick this movie to the curb.

A TRUE CLASSIC
14 September 2002
Awesome horror film! A true, timeless classic in every sense. John Carpenter took a small budget and made a real gem. Although it's not his best film, it's truly his most memorable. Almost 25 years later it still draws in the fans. It will do the same in 50 years and beyond. The Shape is now an american icon. And we have a brilliant director to thank for that. Not to mention the creepiest music ever composed for a motion picture. Which is almost as identifiable as The Shape himself. I can't recommend it enough to lovers of the horror genre. It still packs a punch. Thank you John Carpenter.
