How excited I was to find some info about this movie.I was so glad to find some info online about the movie Cindy. It's true not many people remember the movie. Some were trying to convince me I just dreamed about it.
The movie Cindy was recently brought to my mind when we visited Disney World in Florida this summer.I have a 6 year old daughter who loves the Disney Princesses. To say the least she was just overjoyed when she got to dress up completely as the princess of her choice. She chose Cinderella. She was truly an Icon of the Theme Park. The experience was priceless. But I noticed the lack of diversity in Disney princesses despite the diversity of the thousands of visitors swarming the park. I thought how more relevant it would be for my daughter to see a princess there of African descent. I hope I'm able to obtain a copy of Cindy for my daughter to view.
