The Brave One (2007)

I liked it better when it was called the Punisher...
17 September 2007
Are we serious??? I mean wow ... just, wow. I think I saw this flick in an old issue of War Journal. This is pathetic, originality is completely dead, instead of trying to formulate a new idea what we receive is a bland re-do of an old plot line and to "switch it up" we just change the gender or race of the original character it's moronic and everyone should be sick and tired of seeing it ... but I guess this is just a rant and will most likely fall on deaf ears to engrossed with the sound of another turd hitting the toilet water like the best western since 3:10 to Yuma ... (wait for it)... 3:10 to Yuma! Thank You Hollywood for killing film as an art form and turning it into a commercial barrage of neo-pop junk and blatant retardation ... wonderful!!!

Ninja Master Gordon = Jesus
7 February 2006
Perhaps one of the greatest epics of our time! This film is unquestionable as a true masterpiece of cinema. Godfry Ho does his very best work as he creates a cinematic paradise of sword wielding ninjas and tuberculosis infested sadness. Godfrey Ho and Joseph Lai are masters of their craft and deserve accolades and nothing but respect for what they have created for the entire world to cherish. They have created a landscape that is equal to no other their choice of costumes music and actors create a fantasy world that is so immensely sweeping that it touches my heart even thinking of it.Watch this film you'll laugh, cry and most importantly; get pumped and flip out!!!!

Ninja Master Gordon Saved My Life
20 August 2005
First of all, let me premise this comment by saying that if you have not seen a Godfrey Ho directed film then you must go out and view one. You will probably have a hard time finding one seeing as all blockbuster's don't carry them and the majority of his films are not on DVD.

So, go find one of those independently owned video stores, if they still exist in your town or city, and head to the VHS action/martial arts section and begin panning the isles for awkwardly titled ninja films like: Ninja Destroyer, Ninja Hunt, Ninja Powerforce etc...

Trust me, you will not be disappointed! His wonderful two film splicing technique, a lost art in my opinion, and his use of zooming in on running feet to display action and movement in his films is unmatched! His champion directorial style is only equaled by his costume choices for his ninja combatents (i.e. pink, large shoulder pads and powder blue ninja costumes) are simply amazing! 10 out of 10 His works are masterpieces i suggest you see them!

The CLASSIC
18 October 2002
This is the one that started it all. The Greatest horror film of all time this is the one that all the people tried to copy. With the masked murderer concept to the cannibalistic family members. Tobe Hooper created the pinnacle of American horror (which is the best horror genre). This is the film that everyone pays respect to. This film is not only the best horror film it is one of the best films ever made. With superb acting from Marilyn Burns, that blows away anything Jamie Lee Curtis could do, and the power of the Leatherface character played by Gunnar Hanson accompanied with the wonderful cinematography and the superb directing of Hooper this truly is an American Classic. This film brings real fear and slight hint of dark humor bring to life a movie that comments on the break down of the American family. This picture is a true piece of art.
