This has shaken my belief in humanity...lost my sleep n have fear and hopelessness all arnd after watching this movie. Can exactly feel how the the police officer felt n acted at the end. Hope these criminals (not human) got what they deserved in real life.

I simply do not understand why so called A listers run after monetary benefit just to serve all this useless scripts to to their fans. Pls stop just for ....sake stop pls. A human brain cannot take more of these.....

The story is very predictable after first 30/40 minutes. This genre has been exploited enough for viewers to know the outcome. Though i must agree there has been moment which forces viewers to have second guessing but someone who is a fan of thrillers / suspense movies will guess the ending very easily sooner than latter. Commendable acting none the less.

Had it been a standalone movie then it would have been a below average one but being part of the "series" it is a disgrace. Big let down of the expectations. Anyone with decent understanding of movies would have guessed the complete suspense of the movie in the first 15 min and would spend next 40 minutes just waiting for that to happen. And next 50 minutes is just the usual action any action movie could deliver.

A movie which is flawed as hell...defies logic as hell.. defies physics as hell....SO DOES many other highest grosser over the years. The movie delivers where it matters THE ENTERTAINMENT... as does other highest greasers over the years. Definitely worth watching...ONE MORE TIME.

A movie which is over dramatic but yet very realistic....you will lose if you do not try. The movie conveys a very good message and i was tempted to compare it with "jo jita wahi sikandar" and "3 idiots" ....maybe my biased towards those two classics came in between but believe me this movie is closer to today's reality than any other movie.

This movie is great in terms of entertainment and movie making which includes direction and acting..but....and it is a big BUT... what this movie lacks is human value and social impact. The hero of this movie is a person with serious bad behaviour, abusive language, no respect for females and no respect for other human feeling...but..yet that person is presented as hero. A hero of bollywood movie is the one who is seen as a role model by our younger generation...seriously guys can we be practical in reviewing this movie. Had the ending been with the person being in pathetic conditions and apologetic to his actions this would have great message but no it was not be.... Hate me all you want but this is not a movie for Indian audience who practically worship their Bollywood star roles.

You can make the story of this movie from every other sports flick from bollywood. There is nothing different in this movie, from a carzy passionate person making a national team to a government board with all negatives. I will say that you will remembers Chak De India, Mary Kom, Dangal, Soorma, etc with all the same story line.

This movie is a perfect example of failing expectations. If you bring together a star dream star cast of of AB & AK then people expect the movie to have some substance while none were there. The story was very predictable from start to end. The length of movie was unnecessarily too long, in fact the first 2 hrs (before interval) was above average and that made me give it 5 stars but the second half (last one hrs) was so mediocre that you cannot wait for the movie to get over. The less is said about the sons and dance sequences the better it will be.

The movie failed in every aspect but i must say the actors tried to salvage the pride in this below average movie but as i firmly believe the main aspect of a movie is story and direction where it failed to make any positive impressions.

This may not be a waste of money in a fair priced movie halls but there are many of them thus making it feels like a loss for audience

The movie has made good effort in making an original horror movie through a live action camera style. i am writing this review in year 2018 and since this movie there has been many other live action camera style movies in Bollywood/ Tollywood and yet very few has been able to impress as this one due to its originality of story-line and impressive performances by actors. In fact it can be considered a pioneer for the this particular style of horror movie making in India.

Watch it for the maturity of the Indian cinema, watch it if you want to watch a movie made in India by the someone like Quentin Jerome Tarantino caliber, watch it if you want to taste the real caliber of the Indian Cinema, Watch it if you thick Indian cinema is behind Hollywood by a long margin...... but pls watch it.... more than worth it.

It is not a romance movie neither it is a thriller, horror, action, drama, or any other kind....it is just a light hearted movie to watch along with family and it will make you feel good. Please do not go with my or any other review......just watch it.

Only request please do not form a opinion without watching this amazing TV series. Considering it is originated by skill of INDIANs it is a masterpiece (10/10). Even by Hollywood standards it is a 8/10. Please watch it with an open mind and you will see a masterclass at its best.

That's what happens when you try to convert an amazing horror/thriller movie into an out n out action movie. Please do not spoil the purge legacy.

Movie had a great storyline and character build up. But as soon as the court room drama starts, where the movie was suppose to seal the deal, it falls apart. Bad dialogues and unrealistic court room drama makes you feel sorry for the first 30 min of good part. I have seen many other user reviews for this movie. There are reviews which are very biased on either side but seriously this movie is not worth all this drama. Frankly the drama in the user reviews is better than the drama in the movie. It is not a thriller and it is not a realistic court room drama thus fails in all aspect. After 30 min the characters feel very unrealistic and the story has no unexpected twists.

The movie looks "less real than REC" because of the steady camera movement and video capturing.

The story and sequences are more frightening than REC. In REC 2 the story took a whole new turn and changes the perception that one would get after watching the REC about the origin of the virus infection that affected the residents of the unfortunate building. The encounter / action sequences are more intense and thrilling than REC.

Though i got to accept REC looked more original because of shaky camera movement and the buildup of the story, here in REC 2 it looked more of a normal movie than a real time recording of incidents.

Overall a fine horror flick and i will have to admit that it is a perfect sequence of REC. Its 7 out of 10 from me.

Well as said in the summary "Its over and over again.........." one will feel while watching the movie that the story is going to take a new turn any moment due to the strong beginning but all one gets is same old twists and turns which may resemble with some other thrillers you have watched in last couple of years, as far as the story is concern its nothing new.

For the actors none of them had much to do except for Melissa who plays the center role in the movie and the entire story rolls around her and i mean literally.

Its seems a mix of "1301" due to characterization and "Ghost ship" due to some similarity with the storyline. Though i have to admit Christopher smith (Director) has take another forward step in making thrillers after "Creep" and "Severance", Best of luck to him.

Overall all i recommend is this to be watched on a night in weekday when one does not have anything to do or just looking for some average thriller.

if you are looking for a Tuesday or Wednesday night when u r feeling bored and dull then this movie will is just the thing for u but if it is Friday night / weekend then definitely skip it and wait till Wednesday to watch it.

the storyline is not catchy and always predictable, though the director tried to pitch in with some future scenes and then coming back to the present and saving the day kinda stuff, but u gotta agree even that is predictable in a movie where the main character is a magician who can see future as disclosed in promos. there is nothing special in the movie which we have not seen in other movies of same kind.

the acting well gotta agree for a weak storyline they had very fine actors doing the major roles. Nicolas cage, playing the role of the magician and Julianne Moore as an FBI agent doing their stuff beautifully as always and they were well supported by Jessica Biel and Thomas Kretschmann but is is the storyline and weak screenplay that wasted their efforts. that is exactly why this movie falls far behind "Deja Vu" which had only Denzial Washington but yet did well due to unpredictability well captured by screenplay.

Ending was far away from predictable thats true but if you are wondering how it happened well u won't get any answers.

Definitely better than 5.5 it has got now. definitely not among the finest action / sports movies ever made, but in summary i called it "Female Rocky" well watch it and decide whether i am wrong or not.

It has got all a catchy story, whole lot of drama and pretty good action sequences but above all it has got good acting performances and screenplay which is definitely missing in recent action movies. performance of Chad Ortis and Rebecca Neuenswander is mind blowing and it is the face expressions that made it that good.

Also hats off to Jonathan Dillon the director for completely capturing the situations perfectly and to Ian Shorr the writer for adding situational drama in the movie, it ended as an romantic movie after being a complete action drama but still no points should be deducted for that as it made the end feel good.

summary of all above mentioned points it is 8/10 movie and one should not miss it. definitely watchable once or more

"Tried something different and heaven fallen apart" well the above statement is for the director, story writer and casting manager. i don't know theses guys personally but had to tell ya all they have seen their last work. such an insult to to great TV series.

Let me start off with the story, i don't think the story writer has even seen the original series thus he tried something different, could have been a decent story if the original series had not been made, intact had they tried the same story with different character name no one in the whole world would have guessed that they are trying to make a movie on the Dragon ball series.

Second is casting well only one comment please watch "Master youshi" and "Yam cha" character in the movie you will get the complete idea as what went wrong. though the actors playing the respective roles tried their level best but it is the physical appearance that just the edge off. you all will have to agree "Yam cha" as a cool dude and "Master youshi" as mid age bit chubby person just didn't sound like them Well the fault of the director lies in not able to cover up the above mentioned flaws. the special effects seems OK in the initial 30 min or so but that also fell part as the ultimate battle between "Goku" and "Pikolo" started. back ground music was kinda OK but just could not do justice with the background scores of original DB series.

All in all i would say if they had not tried to use the name "Dragon ball evolution" the movie could have done better as except for the name, dragon ball factor and characters name nothing else is matching with the original series not even the characters relationships.
