El gerente (2022)

Nice popcorn worthy movie

Entertaining with a touch of good heart. I don't care if it's a true story or not, I enjoyed it for the duration of it and that's enough.

The acting is great and, the story and script are well done. All the actors are well cast, even the "villain" that I couldn't stand for years.

What I liked the most was finding myself rooting for Argentina's team at the end. I never thought of doing that ever in my life, lol Last, but not least, I love a mature Leo Sbaraglia. He's always done a consistent job at playing normal people that you can feel them, and this is just another great example of that.

Oh, and there are some post-credit scenes, do not miss them.

Much better than I thought

Warning: Spoilers
Visuals are very well done, including the special effects and cgi. The story is solid, and it is not slow at all.

The ending is not confusing at all: 1) these people with special abilities are working together (to what end is not clear, but that's enough) and not alone as it was hinted since the beginning 2) Michael now helps/works with his father, as his father meant since he appeared on screen, and it's mentioned that he was training Michael for years now.

Follow the story, is not difficult at all.

Great casting, sadly nothing more.

Let me be clear, there are worse movies than this one, but I rated it 3 stars because this is a movie with top A actors, but everything else fails. Even the action sequences are not good, and in an action movie that's the most important part.

John Malcovich's character is the only one salvageable. Jessica Chastain's acting is not bad at all, but her character was done poorly.

I couldn't enjoy it
15 June 2019
Maybe the movie is great, I don't really know.

The first minutes throw me off so bad that I could get into the plot comfortably. I'm Uruguayan and what is shown is not here and the people that spoke Spanish in the first scenes are not Uruguayan also (and they didn't even try), and I'm willing to bet that it was shot in Argentina. Close, but not the same and it was so unnecessary. Cloud have been placed in rural Argentina and it wouldn't change a thing about the main story, but if you are going to make it set in Uruguay, just do it. Why they would do such a thing? That was awful.

Gladly surprised by Facebook 😊

This show is so much more than it appears to be at first. Great casting (all of them), and a story that is so well done. Give it a chance, you will not regret it.

Short and interesting for a general population
12 November 2018
In the last few months I have seen a lot of adults that show no basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology or medicine at all. So, a show like this might be helpful to a wider audience. And the ones that understand basic concepts at least could find some interesting facts. Overall, an ok show to watch. Fun, short and to the point.

PS: Please excuse my poor English, it's not my first language. I hope that I didn't butcher it.
