I give it a 10 just to bring up the average, it deserves it.
The only flaw as I see it (and other may disagree), is the casting of Angela Lansbury as Sibyl Vane - a bit of a dead cat in the tiramisu. It might not be an issue (especially if you've not read the book), but one essential aspects of the story lies in Sibyl who is a young innocent girl. In the book she highlight the ugly cruelty of Dorian Gray. But maybe its just my dislike of Angela Lansbury...
Regardless, the strength of the other performances, plenty of Wilde quotes, and particularly George Sanders (any film with him in, is a must) and his incredible voice in narrating the story makes it a real gem.
A wonderful film, a joy to watch.
