The In-laws (2002)
Private Convo Time!
This show is hilarious!
I have only started watching this recently but every episode is very good. Admitedly it is alot like 'Meet The Parents' but better! I didnt enjoy 'Meet The Parents' that much and this just makes it so much better. The concept is quite a cliche but the jokes r great. Farina and Gold have a great friendship and pull off most of the funny bits. If u like meet the parents or frasier then u will love this. Brilliant!
Off Centre (2001)
!Pure Genius!
At the time i saw this i was staying up late at Christmas and it was the high point in every one of my days. Alot of people will not like this as the humour is very immature but thats the way american pie makers r! Personally i think almost everything about this is perfect except Status Quo who was boring in almost every episode. If u like American Pie u will absolutley love this and i hope u have the same laughs i had.
ENJOY!!
Roxanne (1987)
Cyrano de Bergerac, no way! This is the one for me.
This has to be one of the greatest Martin Comedies of all time. it is funny, romantic and feel-good. Roxanne is by far one of my favourite comedies ever. It is great and martin, playing C.D Bales is hilarious. The best scene in this film has to be the date between Chris and Roxanne it has a good idea but doesnt come off and ends up being a total mess. For me, every scene in this film is great with a few extra funny jokes here and there it makes this film my all around best comedy ever because personally i love happy endings.
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
Horrific, Good Idea, All Around A Great Horror Film.
To tell you the truth i am really sad about horror films. i watch almost any horror film that is on t.v so i think i am a fair judge of good horror films.
I personaly think the nightmare on elm street films are all classic horror films(Freddys Revenge being an exception) and i dont think im alone having the idea that the first is by far the best. Heather Langenkamp fits her role superbly as does Johnny Depp and they both put good performances. in my opinion Wes Craven is one of the best horror directors ever and the was another stroke of horror genius. Freddy Krueger is a pretty scary bad guy there is no question about that, and i think Robert Englund does just what Craven wanted him to do, put on a great voice and also pulls off some of the comedic lines perfectly. The idea is great and i think that is what makes it better than the others it is an original idea cause the others were said to just be trying to build on the sucsess of the first films idea and to be fair Dream Warriors did that well. But all around i think nightmare on elm street is by far one of the greatest horror films ever made.
