Gemini Man (2019)

This movie has a Generic plot,it's not deep or thoughtful maybe 20 years ago when the film was first tossed around the boardroom it was but not in 2019.

Yet it's fun visually stunning most of the time, with some unique fight scenes and action sequences that I haven't seen before.I was on the edge of my seat throughout many of these scenes watching it in 2K 3D at 120 FPS.

The visuals take some getting used to after about 10-15 minutes your immersed in the Graphically Impressive action.There are only 14 theaters in the United States that can play this film at 2K 3D 120 FPS and none can play it at the native quality of 4K 3D 120 FPS so most won't see it the way the movie is intended to be viewed.

This film is new tech and is pushing the bounds of technology it's the first like Final Fantasy Spirits within.I think in time it will grow to be a classic it's generic script and stunning visuals should age well.

All in all Gemini Man is a pretty cool action film featuring some decent fight scenes and lots of gunplay.There's very little I can say that's bad about the movie.its What I want to see at the movies after a long week.Best of all there's no political rhetoric contantly thrown in your face.

Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)

A Disneyesque rom-com sprinkled with Marvel action

It's a bit sappy but the preteens will eat it up there's a few treats here and there thrown in the dialogue for any one over twelve.

With that out of the way this movie may have some of the best writing in the genere the dots come together here the MCU gets connected it's story telling at its best even if we've heard the story before.

The visuals are made for Imax or 3D absolutely stunning.

Coming off of big baddies like Thanos and Dark Phoenix Spider Man Homecoming had a lot to look up to in the villain departement and it delivers.

All and all a thrilling and entertaining new addition to the MCU.

X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)

This is what movies are about.

Days of future Past in my opinion reigns as one of the greatest movies of all time.I said this immediately after seeing the film I say this now years later 8.0 and climbing.

This is an epic adventure you will be on the edge of your seat it's storytelling at its best a complete sinematic master piece.Just go see it.

What Is this feminist drool.All this crying and hugging hating your family for no reason.A movie full of incompetent men and males who serve as tools for women.

A complete waste I can't imagine the type of person that would enjoy this for every good thing about the movie there where ten bad things.

I liked watching bumble learn to talk etc but that's followed by Charlie(why does she have a boys name)treating her family like crap for no reason.

About the only good thing about this movie is Jason Statham swimming around, walking around and looking kool.If you like jaws this isn't for you if you liked sharknado you'll love this.

The Nun (2018)

Creepy and unsettling

I'm not a horror genre fan I rarely see a movie about supernatural things that can't be killed with a shot gun,but I made and exception with the Nun.

I found this movie.to be genuinely scary or creepy or wierd,in a good way if you like scary things.

Actually I find the nun far more scarier than Jason or Friday Thec13th.

The movie hits on so many things that are terrifying like drowing being, buried alive ,dark forest etc.If you want a real mindless scare I think this will do it.

The Predator (2018)

I can't say anything good about this movie I didn't like any of the characters I didn't have a clue what was going on so much didn't make sense.It hard to be be level producers where able to conive studios out of 100 millinial dollars for this mess...There is so much source material for predator why pull scripts out of the garbage pile.

It's Ironic but Venom turned out to be what Predator should have been.

Venom (2018)

A fun ride to the dark side

It's a PG_13 venom movie that's all you should really need to know.This movies was made to bring in the crowds of teens and preteens,and it succeeded.

It's a cheesy basic buget comic book movie that hits every mark that it's supposed to.looking for action got it superpower,protagonist got, it super powered nemesis got it,love triangle got it,disposable random supporting characters got it.

Tom hardy deliverse thr role splendidly and venom looks absolutely terrifying and awsome the voice effects just puts him over.To be honest I don't have any negative things to say about the movie it's fun entertaining and introduces Venom in superb way.

Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)

Better than Awakens but still sleepy.

I feel like ths Should be the last Jedi,I keep holding out hope but it never gets better. Like the first three Xmen films The Star Wars reboots seemed destined to dissappoint.

The last three trilogies in the franchise though flops where atleast fun.There was Pod racing ,Droids VS Clones The Obi Wan- Vader Light Saber Duel a Yoda fight scene Samuel L Jackson with a purple lightsaber and a storyline that mostly made sense even if it was simpleminded and juvenile.Young Jedi Joins the Darkside to save the woman he loves.Everyone knows the Darkside is bad and it never works out.

This movie had virtually nothing interesting fun or new.Theres a few cameos notably a fairly surprising and enjoyable one by Yoda.Kylo Ren does his thing again easily one of the most entertaining Characters in the franchise.Luke was virtually useless waiting till the last minute to step in and help Hamil was ok but his scenes just show his head to big .Carrie Fisher did her thing as Leia one of the few characters I enjoyed everytime she came on screen.Finn was Finn not remotley interesting I like when hes on screen because of his commanding presence but he doesnt do anything other than fight Captain Phasma and develop a surprising love interest needs more development he hasnt grown any since The Force Awakens.

I can hardly think of one stand out scene and there where lots of annoying little things like animals always appearing to side with the rebels and why are the droids so loyal.I just feel like something was missing.There where some decent plot twist but still sine unanswered questions.

Im not saying dont see it im not saying its not fun, it has its moments but It could have been so much more.

Rapa Nui (1994)

Hidden Treasure Hollywood Gem

After watching this movie one can only wonder why hasn't anyone heard of this what was happening in 1994 the overshadowed this movie. Was it a lack of promotion the presumably R rating?.

I found this to be an excellent film all the characters main and supporting are very intriguing the setting is breathtaking , and the actors all played their roles superbly and with passion.

I did not find a problem with the English speaking actors I feel the director wanted to get the point of the movie across without tiring the audience out by having to read subtitles.This is a movie after all not real life, one cant expect things to be exact.

This movie is far different then most of what Hollywood churns out the plot is simple as the time the movie takes place the story is very believable and understandable with some historical elements thrown in.

As one watches this film they will come to see that's there's no simple answer to the protagonist problems they will have to take them selves back to that time and place.

As far as a love story goes i feel its an epic one easily as touching if not more so then Star Wars or Titanic, Also similar to 10,000 BC. Its shame that such a good movie seems to have gone virtually unheard of.

Mutant Chronicles (2008)

I liked this movie the lead character is Indiana Jones, Bruce Willis that guy from fire fly and 007 combined. I really liked the characters in this movie there where quite a few that you really begin to care about.I thought this movie was really deep maybe because I'm a soldier myself and have witnessed much self sacrifice on the battlefield. The movie takes place far into the future but the initial combat scenes look more like ww1 trench war fare, the classic looking weapons seemed to have some quite modern capabilities at any rate i found this style to be intriguing and fit the films dark and desperate tone perfectly. Once you get passed the harsh language the blood and gore you really begin to think what would you do in this situation. Mutant Chronicles is a very real and touching film, its more closely related to Titanic Deep impact or even Jurassic park more so then resident evil or 28 days later. This film dives head first into issues of faith courage and morality if you could watch shindlers list nightmare on elm street starship troopers and band of brothers give Mutant Chronicles a go.

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009)

Street Fighter in name only

A wonderful and beloved franchise dies with the creation of this film. From reading the tittle you start thinking maybe this will be an origins type of movie and it is but its horribly lacking in cameos, special effects and meaning fullness.a complete disappointment. The only thing going for this film is the lead actors/actresses try there best with the garbage there given and the martial arts sequences are well put to gather and powerful looking. Basically the street fighter name is used to garner sales if was named Streets of Bangkok I probably would have given the movie a 6.5 because character names and martial arts is the only thing this film has in resemblance to Street Fighter.
