Rock 'n ' Roll Made in Mexico (2007)
Rare look into unknown history by Miccio and De la Parra.
'Rock n Roll Made in Mexico ,From Evolution to Revolution' Wowed the crowd at The Beverly Hills Premiere of the Film on February 15th . Many Celebrities were on hand including this years Oscar Nominee Francesco Quinn, Director, Paul Provenza ,and Ry Cooder. The LA Times review that described the film as Gripping and Compelling ' provided a full house to the untold story . A great rare work of honesty with a human touch and a warm sense of humor . Miccio and His Partner Fito de la Parra honor Mexican musicians in there film while introducing them to a new generation who have no idea of Mexican Rock's tortured past . This is an important film !
Jukebox: From Edison to Ipod (2007)
The Jukebox : From Edison to Ipod
This piece is brilliant , narrated by Peter Coyote .
It is a Cultrual treasure with the soundtrack that is the soul of a nation. With an incredible eclectic cast , that features a Grammy winner , poets , hippies . filmmakers, writers , collectors ,a music critic and street musicians .
The testimony sends a clear message of love of the Jukebox and its impact on pop culture and music . Shot over two years on locations from Coney Island Brooklyn through Rhode Island and Venice Ca. The Jukebox history is told with joy and nostalgic melancholy . This project reminds us of what a great country we once were, when ideals of self reliance, freedom, innocence and the pursuit of happiness were our strongest features as a nation

Starring Francesco Quinn and Luigi LoPresti and shot by the talented Adam Biddle on the Sony Cinealta 900 and supported by the equally talented Christopher Gallo on the Sony HDZ . It was shot in one day in Baker California after a torrential rain storm. This left the normally bone dry lake beds of full of sparkling water. We planned for a day when the moon was full moon which happened to be on first day of spring. With this setting I was able to create a 14th century Japan feel that the writer Robert Subiaga was after. This setting also helped make Joe MacDougall's directorial debut a success. To the credit the others who worked in the art department . Tom Marchak supplied SFX services and the talented Carol Mushlitz was the costume designer and Jason Reese (Rusty Plastic) did the poster
