Creep (2004)
Not too bad, but not really too good either
I had very high hopes for this film. And as the summary says, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best.
The main problem was it appears to have been cut too much, making it look like the film didn't know whether it wanted to be teen slasher or psychological horror. It had a couple of truly disturbing bits but also several, "oh look, we blew the budget on fake blood" moments.
All in all I'm glad I saw it, but I'm also glad I borrowed my mate's DVD and didn't go to the pictures to see it and therefore waste a fiver. Worth a watch if you're a horror fan though.

Deathwatch (2002)
Almost the best film I've seen in a very long time!
I loved this film. Almost as much as I loved 28 days later.
To reply to an "earlier comment", there is a Bad Guy. It's everywhere, permeating the trenches. It's called EVIL, but I won't say how it manifests itself other than it's quite a surprise.
The film showed how gritty and disgusting the trenches must have been, it showed man's humanity and inhumanity to other men, how easily our minds can be led, and lets you think a lot about how a split second act can affect not only your future but that of others.
Ok, there was a little bit of overacting, but come on, the actors threw their hearts into in and that's what came over in the film. It had a good story, a lot of good twists, and an excellent ending.
If psychological horrors are your thing, GO AND SEE THIS NOW. If not, don't bother, cos you'll give it a bad rating and put others off. :)
