3 Body Problem (2024– )
6/10
Better then most of what is out right now.

I didn't read the books so I wasn't too concerned about the faith adaptation. What I was concerned with was being entertained. The series probably should have been ten episodes and not eight to help the story flow better. Overall it's a pretty middle of the road show with one standout exception, Liam Cunningham.

Every second Liam Cunningham is speaking, he forces you to hang on every word. You can tell it's his performance and not the writing because his line delivery is far batter then everyone else on the show.

I'd also like to give credit to Benedict Wong, another actor who clearly understands his craft. Everyone else just seems to be there for the paycheck while Cunningham and Wong are acting like their careers are on the line.

Good for what it's suppose be.

If you like summer camp slaughter movies then this could be for you. Admittedly it takes a certain type of audience to like this movie and being someone that grew up on Friday the 13th, Slumber House Massacre, and Sleepaway Camp, I fell right into this category. If you're not in this category, odds are you'll be offended at the idiocy and lack of depth of the characters.

People who used to love these types of movies know the characters are the way they are so the viewer feels a level of joy when they finally get what they deserve.

The lead females in these stories always start off weak and eventually find the strength needed to survive. Usually this is straight forward in most of the genre, except a few exceptions like Angela in Sleepaway Camp.

The only real concern I have here is, they will add to much space between deaths in order lengthen the show.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 (2007–2009)

Far Better Then Most of the Gundam series.
21 July 2012
I held off watching this one due to the sour reviews in the Anime community. I was first introduced to Gundam through Gundam Wing and later watch Mobile Suit Gundam (0079) at the request of friends.

I've watched almost all of the Gundam series at this point and found many of them to lack the depth of Wing, 0079 was great the last few episodes but you had to watch so many to get to that depth.

Unlike the others Gundam 00 gets right to it and much like Gundam Wing it deals with plots inside of plots and the endless back and forth the tides of war cut. Its truly astounding animation coupled with its story puts it up there with the top Animes for me.

I didn't give it a ten because for me 10 is a mark of perfection.

Breaking Bad: Peekaboo (2009)
Season 2, Episode 6
10/10
This is what makes this show great.
8 May 2009
Warning: Spoilers
This is one of those episodes that reminds you why you watch this show. This season has had many moments when you begin to think, its just dragging on for too long (and for the most part it is). However it is episodes like this, that gets to the heart of Meth addiction and the consequences of the actions taken to maintain it.

Peekaboo is the type of episode that reminds us that Jesse is a human and that Meth can drag anyone down into the hellish world it has created, including an innocent child.

This series could easily continue further if they would just get away from the constant lies between Mr. White and his family and focused more on the macabre existence of Tweekers.
