Without Warrant (2013)
Pacey drama
Went to see the premiere of this independent movie in Melbourne last week when on holiday there and it was a pleasant surprise. The film is well directed and filmed with a story that gives a fresh twist or two to the police/homicide genre. Andy McPhee is excellent as a psycho cop and there are plenty of little cameos by well established Aussie actors like Peter Phelps and Vince Gil. David Bradshaw is very entertaining in his supporting role.
This film really deserves a proper cinematic release, it's a shame that it isn't better known and that so few have got to see it so far. If you get the chance to watch you should...I'm hanging out for the DVD release, hope its out soon and that it comes with plenty of extras!
Cubbyhouse (2001)
When do we get Cubbyhouse 2?
I demand a sequel! Just bought the DVD and boy is it worth the money! I'm sure we'll see a lot of the cast in the future, especially Joshua Tainsh-Biagi (Ivan), that guy was chilling to watch in the demonic scenes, he'll go far!!! Would definately recommend, a hidden gem!!!
Bloodmoon (1990)
My favourite film of alltime
It's sad this film hasn't seen more publicity, it's a great watch and just shows the Aussies do it better every time! Any film with Christine Amor has to be good and Leon Lissek is suitable weird in an offbeat role of the school teacher. I am now the proud owner of an authentic film script and it is my favourite piece of film memorabilia...if you ever see this film, watch it, you'll be pleasantly surprised. It lulls you into a false sense of security, you think you've seen it all before, then does the unexpected. Watch it!
