The Lorax (2012)
Females under 18, 8.3, Females over 18, 3.8!
10 March 2012
You adults ragging on this movie because it doesn't agree with your social views should be ashamed of yourselves. This is a CHILDREN'S movie! For the love of God! One voter said "for a children's movie to be successful it needs to cater to both children AND adults?" No it doesn't you idiot! If that mattered, these cartoons wouldn't make $100 million every time. Another voter said "if my kid wasn't enjoying it so much, I would have walked out"! Hilarious! Are you the same guy that would have walked out of Chuck E Cheese if your child wasn't having a great time? Ignorant Clown! And then there are those adults that went to see this without children and complain about the silly music scenes. Get a life! Those scenes weren't created for you. I haven't seen this movie yet...I'm going with my 7 year old in a few minutes. Will I enjoy this movie? Probably Not! As a conservative Republican I will hate it. However, should I not take my son because this cartoon doesn't agree with my philosophies?....UPDATE...I enjoyed it! Thank you to all the nitwits writing misguided bad reviews. I went in with terrible expectations and came out all smiles...but who cares about me. My son loved it and is still wearing my scarf 7 hours later...his new Thneed!

Crowe gets a 10, Pacino gets a 5
12 November 2005
I saw Insider for the first time last night. Russell Crowe was phenomenal. It shows that he can play any character at this point in this career. On the other hand, I felt Pacino brought the film down. I've seen 8 - 10 NEWER Pacino films in the last year and his acting is always the same. I think he has lost it. More Crowe and less Pacino would have made this film an Oscar winner. I saw Insider for the first time last night. Russell Crowe was phenomenal. Saw it coming
21 March 2004
I'm usually pretty oblivious in movies with surprise endings because I get caught up in them, but I figured out the ending right after the Dr. called and he met the daughter on the street. I don't know why I figured it out but I did. "Dammit" I said to myself and hoped for the remainder of the movie that I was wrong. I thought I may be wrong when so many other characters go involved, but they were all "in on it", which by the way was ridiculous. Nothing is worse than figuring out a surprise ending or an ending that ruins the entire movie. For me both happened in Matchstick Men. Just my opinion so don't sweat it.

Poor Stallone
21 March 2004
Voters see a Stallone movie and give it a low rating regardless of what they really think. This was a fun movie. (ya know, fun if you like violence and Brigette Nielsen) Anyway, this deserves better than it's rating. I think it's one of Stallone's best (and Stallone has acted in TONS of great movies..TONS)

The Tall Grass in the Sewer
21 February 2004
Many of the B-movies I catch on Sci-Fi are usually quite entertaining but Alligator II was one of the worst. I was able to handle the hideous acting (especially the science lady), insults to humanity (token black police chief was worth a laugh out loud when he first appears), and plastic small then big then small then big alligator. However, I couldn't get past the scene where the sewer looked like the everglades. I kept thinking why is it night time in one scene and daytime in another, then it hit me that these idiots are supposed to be in a sewer. A sewer with reeds and tall grass like the swamp. The chanting and clapping from the crowd at the end was hilarious also! Before this, Octopus II was the only 1 out of 10 I'd given. Congrats Alligator II for making my 1 list!

Hilariously Dumb
18 July 2003
This movie was dumb and dumbererererer. Cameron and Lucy sure looked good though which is why I didn't leave the theater. Guys, turn off the brain and make believe it's 2:30am and you just channel surfed right into some soft core porn. From that angle, you won't be disappointed. Ladies, don't worry you can do the same. The guys in the movie look good too. How can a director make great special effects look bad. Leave it to McG. The first scene with the helicopter off the cliff was so ridiculous, I laughed out loud. If that was the intention, great job Micky G.

Painful
23 February 2003
I couldn't sit through this. The dialogue between Prinze and Forlani was brutal. I didn't make it to the end so I will give this a 3. I'm sure if I kept watching it could have become a rare 1. No adult could possibly enjoy this. I guess if you're a teen you may find this cute. I was physically attracted to Forlani before this role. Her lines were so annoying that I have seriously lost all of my attraction. That takes a lot my friends. PAINFUL!!!
