Jenseits (2001)
Gripping story
This film is a little gem, one of those films "Hollywood" couldn't make even if they wanted to.
The guy who kills the boy in an accident feels so bad about it that he wants to do anything possible to make the loss of this child more bearable for the mother. This results in a relationship which makes everything even more complicated. The ending has a lot to say for it as well.
The actors play their parts sublimely with lots of emotion.
Definitely a film worth seeing and having.
Ed Wood (1994)
Truthful documentary
After having seen this movie and "Plan 9 from Outer Space" I can tell you this is one heck of a documentary. Very well acted, and definitely very true to the real thing.
Johnny Depp plays the role of Ed Wood Jr. masterfully and it was difficult to see that this film did NOT use real footage from "Plan 9".
a good 7 out of 10
Momo (1986)
A children's classic
One of the best movies for children and (as others said) adults as well! The story is very interesting as it is true that people have less and less time for the truly important stuff in life. Another good point about this movie is the fact that the evil is displayed without a lot of violence, and it is still thrilling to watch.
Radost Bokel plays Momo very well and I love the turtle
As a kid I enjoyed watching this and as an adult I still do.
Good stuff 9/10
The Fog (1980)
Creepy and Scary
This is a horror-film which does without weird and corny special effects to get you scared. When the fog is coming and the pirates start knocking on the doors you'll wet yourself.
The actors, including the little boy, really give you the feeling that this is really happening.
I love this movie, 9/10.
Plan 9 from Outer Space (1957)
Very bad and silly movie!!!
This movie is really silly, the story is ridiculous and the actors act badly, which is not to surprising seeing the limited text they have. The story is hardly believable, although the part about humans thinking they are the only intelligent beings in the universe is true. The number of goofs in this film is incredible, and incredibly stupid.
The film does have some funny moments. But it's certainly not a movie to watch more then once.
Conclusion: a BAD and SILLY MOVIE, but not the worst movie ever.
