Bunty Aur Babli 2 was a very poor and disappointing film.
17 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Bunty Aur Babli 2 was a very disappointing film. It was so bad. Sharvari and Siddhant Chaturvedi got more screen time than Saif and Rani. We did not see any of the brilliant and phenomenal chemistry between Saif and Rani in this film. Such a big mistake, this film should of centred on Saif and Rani and not the newcomers. This movie was a cheap and boring film. No wonder this movie was a big flop and a disaster at the box office.

Franklin & Bash (2011–2014)
9/10
A brilliant and entertaining series that's worth a look!
21 June 2013
I love Franklin & Bash it's a fun and entertaining US TV show. If you're looking for a serious courtroom show, then go elsewhere. If you're looking for escapism, laughs and some eye candy, then Franklin & Bash has this in spades... I loved seasons 1 - 2 of Franklin and Bash and season 3 looks like it's going to be great fun as well. Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer are excellent sexy and so entertaining to watch. Malcolm McDowell is really funny and enjoyable as Stanton Infeld. Franklin & Bash is one of my favourite TNT shows and the most underrated gems on TV. I hope that we see more Franklin & Bash seasons. It's perfect Summer viewing and but I really enjoy the show. I like the chemistry between Peter & Jared. The chemistry between mark and breckin is fantastic and you can genuinely tell that they are having fun in their roles as it comes through on screen.

Men of a Certain Age (2009–2011)

Men of a certain age a brilliant show that's worth giving a try!
16 February 2010
Men of a certain age is really a fantastic show.I love Scott Bakula and he was actually the main reason I wanted to see this show in the first place and I've been a fan of his ever since Quantum Leap. Scott is great as Terry and still looks as hot now as he did in his Quantum leap days! The man just shines! and is a wonderful actor. I'm liking his character more and more and he's really grown on me because at first I thought he was quite a jerk but from some of the episodes I've seen you really do feel for him I also found myself rooting for him with every episode. There are very funny moments followed by sad and that's the reason for this shows success Men of a certain age is a very special show. I really hope this show gets screened here in the UK. MOACA has been a big success in the US and has already been renewed for a second season. I love this show, and the actors in it...so real, so true, so emotional!! Well done Ray, Scott, and Andre! This show is the most "real" show I think that I've ever seen. Love this show! So true to life and very funny.

Snoops (1999)
10/10
The Wonderful Gina Gershon is the one to watch in this show!
23 October 2007
I really love this show but so sad this series never really took off. Snoops is Showing in the UK right now on the Zone Romantica Channel every Saturday and Sunday. When I first viewed this show I thought it was a fresh new TV show. But I was shocked to learn that Snoops lasted for only one season from 1999 – 2000. Gina Gershon is excellent as Glenn Hall she's cool, sexy glamorous, feisty, and sassy as the head of Glenn Hall Agency. Gina is just so fantastic I've always been a fan of the actress and her work. She is a joy to watch because every time Gina's on screen she tends to steal every scene from Paula Marshall. Gina lights up the screen with her beauty and I love her pouty lips she just oozes sex appeal as well as a bad ass attitude. It's just such a shame this show got cancelled I have never seen anything so cool and funny well not on UK screens! Again I have to say that Gina is fantastic to watch on Snoops she has the best lines. Snoops is well worth a watch if you just want to see the wonderful Gina Gershon in action. I give this show a 10/10.

A great film noir!
21 April 2005
I watched this film on DVD and it was just a chance to catch Michael Rooker in the lead role of Fritz Brown, an ex-cop, repo man, and part time detective. Michael plays him with streetwise honesty and toughness but makes it believable and yet shows the weaknesses, and vulnerabilities and flaws of the character. I really enjoyed watching him play these kinds of characters and it's a nice change from seeing him not play a villain or a psychopath. This is an excellent film noir and the best I've ever seen James Freeland has done a brilliant job with this film. The beautiful music score in the opening and closing for the film just fits together with the sad tone of the character. Michael Rooker is one of my favourite actors and I think he did an amazing job in this role he is one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood I hope to see him in more future films.

Melrose Place (1992–1999)
Melrose Place way better than Beverly Hills!
21 April 2005
One of the best shows of the early 90's it lasted for 7 years. I came across this show as it's currently repeated on five every Saturday morning and I continue to love this show. I knew of this show when it screened during the 90's but couldn't care less at that time I was a huge fan of Beverly Hills 90210 which I'm not a big fan of anymore now. I just enjoy catching up with the lives of the beautiful and gorgeous people of Melrose Place. My favourite character is Alison (Courtney Thorne Smith) but my least favourite is Amanda Woodard (Heather Locklear) she is quite a B****. The cast are brilliant and I love the situations, which the characters go through every week just as our lives aren't as dramatic as these characters. Melrose is Glam but much better than Beverly Hills but as the seasons went on the series got over the top that's when I think it went downhill I think. The best year was the early years. I hope a DVD is released both in the US and the UK, as it was very popular and successful in both sides of the Atlantic. Melrose Place is one of my favourite shows and it's a classic with plenty to enjoy and a place we all wouldn't mind living in.

A really fantastic comedy with so many laugh out moments!
10 March 2005
Regardless of the negative comments about this film I think Sibling Rivalry is a brilliant comedy. The all-star cast were fantastic and hilarious in their roles and boy was it really funny and entertaining throughout. This is a really great movie that will keep you laughing although there are some serious drama in between this is an enjoyable film. Scott Bakula is the only reason I watched this film in the first place and I thought he was just brilliant. Scott plays Harry who's from a family of doctors with Carrie Fisher as Iris she plays his sister and Harry's brother is played by Sam Elliot as Charles. Kirsty Alley is beautiful and fantastic as Marjorie she's just married to Harry and happy for a while until she grows bored and frustrated that they never make love. Unhappy and unsatisfied she meets a man in a shopping store this soon leads them both to a hotel room where she spends the night with him. After that what happens is through funny consequences and it's completely funny. The whole cast do a brilliant and are all great fun to watch. I'd give this film a try if your just looking for laughs because I certainly enjoyed this film very much.

Just a waste of time!
15 February 2005
Warning: Spoilers
This film started off OK as Bruce Willis plays a psychiatrist but after a client throws herself out the window and is killed he flees to another psychiatrist played by Scott Bakula as (Bobby Moore) I was really disappointed that he wasn't in this film long but I'm not going to give away what happens. In this film a group therapy session of people are involved in two of the murders and we the audience have to figure who the culprit is in one of them. This film got so boring and confusing towards the end and I just simply didn't care anymore. Bruce Willis plays (Bill Capa) who soon gets involved and is seduced by Jane March – one of the worst actresses I've ever seen. This film didn't really thrill me but if you're a Bruce Willis fan I don't know if you want to bother with this but Colour of night was a total letdown.

The Warriors (1979)
9/10
A cult classic of the 1970's
15 February 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I remember what an overlooked gem this was to the overrated Escape from New York but this one's much better. One of the coolest and best films of the late 1970's. I saw this cult film when it came out in the 80's on VHS.

The characters are real and I thought Michael Beck's portrayal of swan a tough no- nonsense leader of the Warriors gang was excellent he was definitely the star of this film. I also think Mercy played by (Deborah Van Valkenburgh) was feisty with an attitude to match and a girl who took no crap from anyone was really amazing in this role. This film is about a gang trying to get home through New York's subway but spend the rest of the movie fighting off other gangs who follow them and who think the warriors were in on the killing of Cyrus. The Warriors didn't hurt anyone but in many of the fight sequences they used knives but that was only in self-defence.

One of the best effective moments I remember is in the 'Train Home' scene where the gang are heading back home to Coney Island New York. Mercy is sitting aside Swan and there just looking out like theirs no care in the world in that moment these four high school couples who've just come from a prom sit opposite Swan and Mercy. They're laughing and talking among each other but soon stop and look towards Mercy and how she's dressed I found this scene to be really sad and nasty. Mercy was thinking how dirty she looked and I felt it was so sad. In that scene I really felt for her she was just about to fix her hair up neatly but Swan stopped her he was just saying 'don't do this because of them she tried to ignore it but couldn't. I liked it when he scared off those high school prom nerds in their next stop they got off the train. Swan had said he didn't like what she did for a living because she's a whore. But towards the end he accepted her and she wanted to be something better Mercy didn't care how she earned money to her she had nothing and that's the only thing she's got to survive on.

I liked this films setting with its dirty looking streets filled with an array of different looking gangs but one gang stood out from them all The Warriors. The fights, classic one liners, and the dark atmosphere were perfect. An exciting and adrenalin rush of a great film you'll enjoy watching this because it's a classic. The music is excellent and so is the plot. If you haven't seen this film yet than you are missing out on something really special. 10/10

One Tree Hill (2003–2012)

One Tree Hill is one of the best American teen shows since The OC!
11 February 2005
I don't normally watch many American TV shows but I love this show quite a lot. I'm a big fan of One Tree Hill and I think it's a brilliant show. I've been watching OTH over in the UK every Saturday on channel 4's T4 slot. It took a while to grow on me but now I love it. This show deals with all kinds of issues and it has real drama that really appeals to anyone. I really like Brooke she's really really grown on me at first I thought she was really annoying and I didn't like her but now she's great we've got to see a warm and caring side to her it was when Lucas was in hospital after the car crash and we really got to see the real Brooke. She's since found out about Lucas and Peyton seeing each other behind her back and now she's really hurt and feels betrayed by them. She may have her moments when she says stupid things at the wrong time but Brooke is a fun wild and fantastic friend who we all wouldn't mind having around. The entire cast are all brilliant in their roles Craig Sheffer, Moira Kelly, Chad Murray Michael, Sophia Bush, and co are outstanding. One of the best teen American shows I've seen in a while since The OC. I love this show and I'm really pleased to see that OTH is in its second season already and I think that's great. I hope many more keep coming to our screens to keep us fans coming back for more.

A great fun and entertaining animated musical that you'll enjoy!
18 January 2005
Cats don't dance is a fun entertaining cartoon for all the family and it's one of the best animated musicals I've ever seen. Scott Bakula is wonderful as Danny the talented ambitious cat who dreams of making it big in Hollywood. Along the way he meets a couple of animal buddies who are also like himself waiting for their chance to make their big break but whose stars have faded. Cats don't dance has some fantastic songs that are toe tapping good including Scott Bakula singing Danny's arrival song, the animal jam session, and Nothings gonna stop us now with incredible vocals from Natalie Cole and Scott Bakula. As I was saying Scott Bakula is great as Danny the enthusiastic cat with stars in his eyes. I think he did a brilliant job and his voice in the songs were just spectacular. This is cute, funny, uplifting and a feel good cartoon with a lot of heart and emotion. If you are looking for something with a real story that's fun and entertaining than look no further than this one it's a classic and one the kids will love.

One of the classic and wonderful films from the 80's!
18 January 2005
The boy who could fly was and still is one of my favourite films and my feelings about this film haven't changed since. It opens as Millie and her family are starting there new life in town and moving in to their new home. As they are settling in Millie sees a boy called Eric he lives just opposite her he doesn't speak and shows no emotions. But one thing he can do is fly. Millie befriends him and tries to get to know him better and slowly he begins to open up to her. They fall in love and it's so sweet and heart warming This is an underrated gem from the 80's.Some people may have missed this film but I recommend it to anyone looking for something with a heart and a great story. The music by Bruce Broughton is just beautiful and wonderful and the song in the closing credits walking on air is just fantastic. This film has a positive message about dreams and believing that things can happen it's one of the best films I've ever seen. They just don't make films like this anymore.

Quantum Leap (1989–1993)

Quantum Leap - One of the best sci-fi shows ever.
10 November 2004
Quantum Leap was one of my favourite sci-fi shows when I first saw it for the first time years ago. This series had humour, drama, with heart-warming and touching moments as well. The on-screen partnership of Scott Bakula as Sam Beckett and Dean Stockwell as Al was superb and just perfect and both actors are brilliant in the characters they play with great success. I really loved this show the theme was just amazing and it made me love it even more. The whole idea of time traveling and going back in time in different lives to change what went wrong to right seemed really appealing and intriguing to me. It's so sad that this show ended and I really miss it terribly I hope that they could make a movie one day that would be brilliant. There are so many fans the world over that love this show and I think it's an instant classic that should not be written off until you see it's magic.

Deadwood (2004–2006)
Deadwood - A brilliant show from HBO.
12 October 2004
We've finally got this show at last! I've just seen episode 2 of

Deadwood so far and I'm really hooked.Ian Mcshane

is perfect as the evil Al Swearengen and he does a really good job Watching in deadwood brings back me back to seeing him in Lovejoy

but his come a long way since then.Deadwood is a lawless town which

introduces us to an array of characters some bad and some good.

It's not the western shows that look colourful and bright but a dirty

dark atmosphere. The cast are more than capable of bringing these

historical characters to life and all do a brilliant job.

Timothy Olyphant is fantastic as Seth Bullock and Molly Parker is also

terrific as Alma Garrett. All in all Deadwood is a brilliant show that

brings us to the history of Deadwood and it's characters.Fantastic!

The O.C. (2003–2007)
A brilliant show that's so much better than Dawson's Crap!
23 September 2004
From watching the first episode and onwards i was completely hooked. The characters are great too. Seth is my one and only favourite character it's because of his witty one-liners that keeps me watching the show The OC gang are so cool.Ryan is the brooding bad boy the girls are Marissa who's also the beautiful love interest to Ryan. There's also the popular but sometimes moody Summer who comes up with the funniest lines. The actors are brilliant in there roles and i'm really beginning to love this show with every viewing. When i first saw the trailer on Channel 4 i was thinking it was another Dawson's creek copy but i was totally surprised how addicted i've become to watching this fantastic show which sure beats watching the dreary Dawson's Crap a mile.

Dark Blue (2002)
10/10
Kurt Russell gives the performance of his career!
29 July 2003
Warning: Spoilers
Set just before the Rodney King verdict and the 1992 race riots. Dark Blue revolves around Eldon Perry the tough talking hot tempered LAPD cop who'll do anything to get the bad guys off the streets. If that means giving false evidence, lying, and getting the wrong criminals instead of the right ones then that's what he'll do. Eldon came from a family of gunfighters (like his father and grandfather) they were both L.A. lawmen themselves and Eldon is proud to live up to that.

The newcomer to the SIS department is Bobby Keough and Eldon is determined to his new partner his methods of getting the guy - regardless of his innocence by using intimidation and corruption. But the way Bobby sees this as wrong and it doesn't sit with him at all. Soon Eldon and Bobby clash when they're assigned to a case by their boss Jack Van Metre (Gleeson) who is head of the SIS department. Van Metre orders them to get the criminals behind convenience store robbery which left four innocent people dead this took place in the first half of the film. But Van Metre wants Eldon to pin it on 2 other innocent criminals who aren't the real culprits.

Eldon knows the actual killers are connected to his boss but he doesn't know that the guy he trusts and admires Van Metre is the man behind this crime and many others. Jack was Eldon's father's former partner and friend and Eldon has no idea that he is being used to carry out Van Metre's dirty work. The only person who knows that Van Metre is corrupt is police chief Arthur Holland (Ving Rhames). He is the only one who wants to bring down Van Meter and his department.Holland also knows that Eldon is a crooked cop responsible for many crimes and so he seeks to find the right evidence to lock him away.

Kurt Russell gives an excellent portrayal of the morally corrupt and emotionally messed up Eldon Perry. Kurt brings Eldon to life and he does a very good job of it. He doesn't play it over the top like Denzel did in Training Day. Eldon is not a perfect cop or husband but Russell is able to portray a character with problems so believably. Eldon is tough on anyone who don't approve of his methods. As Eldon says:'at the end of the day the bullets are in the bad guys' and thats the way he sees it. Eldon's partner played by Scoot Speedman is excellent as well as Eldon's naive partner. Bobby believes in doing good as the honest cop but he feels pressure to fit in and he desperately wants to please Eldon. As a good guy that he is Bobby is forced in to a situation he is shocked at what has happened but shuts his mouth. Ving Rhames and Michael Michelle are very good in their roles as the good cops.

Again I must say that Kurt Russell's performance took me by surprise. In one scene i can remember there he is with vulnerability in his piercing blue eyes when Eldon is talking to his wife Sally played by the fantastic Lolita Davidovich in a small role. She's lost all respect and love for him and the way it's shown is very real and heartbreaking.

Spoiler- There's one scene I liked when Eldon presents his case to his boss and Van Metre completely tears him apart you can see the humiliation in Eldon's eyes. In the final showdown Eldon is giving a speech. It seems like his all over the place and his feeling all emotions at once as he faces his demons.Eldon is a tough creature that i almost found myself disgusted by him but I felt sympathy for him. I really believed Russell in his bitterness, rage, sadness, his guilt, and his compassion.

Dark Blue deserves to be the film that earns Kurt Russell recognition he rightly deserves. Kurt has been an underrated veteran actor for many years in his 40-year career. Kurt gives one of his best performances in this film. He really deserves to be at the top the A-List in his own right.

Tombstone (1993)
One of the best western cowboy films I've ever seen.
29 July 2003
Warning: Spoilers
Kurt Russell never fails to give an excellent performance he is perfect as Wyatt Earp.Val Kilmer is terrific as Wyatt's friend Doc Holiday. Wyatt and his brothers arrive with their wives in tombstone looking for a peaceful place to settle down. Dana Delaney is the beautiful lady Wyatt falls for though his already married. His wife is a drug addict and Wyatt's marriage doesn't seem to be working out the way he hoped it could have. Wyatt is in retirement but Doc isn't but soon trouble comes in the form of an outlaw gang called "the cowboys" wearing red scarves tied to their belts. They cause all kinds of trouble wherever they go. One night they kill the town sheriff and then they bring their revenge and kill Wyatt's brother Morgan, Wyatt comes out of his retirement for good and becomes US marshal and he wants revenge too. Soon a shootout takes place and even Doc gets in on the action as well.

Spoiler- my favourite scene in the film was when Wyatt walks in to the "Oriental" bar and sees from afar Thornton making a scene and shooting his mouth off. Thornton is acting like a bully with the other person his playing poker with. Wyatt gets up and has a confrontation with Thornton and then slaps him round the face. Thornton has no idea whom his crossed as he wipes blood from his mouth and Wyatt says:'Are you going to just stand there or bleed'(something like that.)Thonton then gets thrown out by Wyatt.Classic!

This is one of the best western shootouts I've ever seen I'm not usually a big fan of western cowboy films but it has a good believable story about real people I'll watch it. Tombstone was very enjoyable and the film was brilliantly acted there were no boring scenes throughout the entire film it was a great ride.Dont miss this you will not be disappointed with an all male cast including Kurt Russell,Val Kilmer,Bill Paxton,Michael Biehn,Sam Elliot,Billy Zane, and loads more then you cant go wrong with this one.

The Thing (1982)
The Thing is one of the best horror classics I've ever seen.
24 July 2003
Warning: Spoilers
The Thing is the most intense and shocking horror films I've ever seen it has the most goriest scenes you will never have seen in any other horror films before. Some scenes are still even scarier today. The Thing is about a group of Arctic researchers who discover an alien has been buried underneath the ice for over 100,000 years.Soon unfrozen the shape-changing creature begins to imitate anything it comes into contact with.

Spoiler - In the beginning we are introduced to Mac playing with the talking computer chess woman.Mac likes to drink and in this scene he is quite competitive but unfortunately he loses to the computer.Mac is not too pleased and destroys the computer's circuits with the drink along with the ice cubes.

Kurt Russell as Macready is incredibly believable and excellent in his role as the boozing helicopter pilot. Macready isn't so keen on taking the lead but reluctantly assumes control of the group. Mac has accepted what's happened while the other guys are going nuts although he is terrified he is courageous as well. Mac is a realist when he thinks something has to be done he just does it and his prepared.Mac is someone we all want in situations like this.

I also want to give credit to the actors Keith David,Richard Masur,Donald Moffat,Wilford Brimley,David Clennon,Thomas Waites,Chris Hallahan, and Richard Dysart etc were all excellent and believable as the men facing the terrifying situation.I liked the way the film developed seeing the 12 men portraying their fear and paranoia of each other and suspecting Mac could be "The Thing." Even though the film failed at the box office it's now gained recognition and a huge cult following among fans and it's well deserved

I was only 2 years old when this film came out but I've seen it now and I've really grown to like this film with every viewing. I guess this film is shocking for the very first time you see it but its a great film and worth watching. The Thing is a serious film with very little comedy but there are some really great scenes, which made me laugh. The horror films now have changed so much that a look so unrealistic. The Thing is a classic and a sheer masterpiece and 20 years later it's still one of the best horror films ever made.

Used Cars (1980)
Kurt is hilarious as Rudy Russo.
24 July 2003
Warning: Spoilers
Jack Warden plays a double role as 2 feuding brothers; one is the good brother Luke Fuchs who dies of a heart attack.Rudy and his pals bury him underneath the car lot.The other brother is the bad brother Roy L.Fuchs who also owns a car lot and competing with Luke's car lot.We are next introduced to Luke's ace salesman Rudy Russo played by Kurt Russell who's a long way from his Disney films starring in this hilariously funny comedy with plenty of laughs.Rudy is a charming conniving, liar and a cheat who has an ambition to go in to politics. He soon promotes his most outrageous adverts and hires models to strip on TV so he can pull in more customers in.

Spoiler-There are many great classic scenes including the scene where Rudy meets Barbara Luke's daughter and starts flirting with her.The hand gag was hilarious when Rudy accidentally jams his hand and shuts the car door without realizing and screams out in pain.

Kurt was brilliant in this film he looked very handsome and charming as Rudy and very enjoyable as the conman Kurt was great fun to watch from start to finish. The chemistry between Rudy and Barbara was great too even if they were different people, he was the liar and cheat and she was the honest sweet girl.Used Cars is a great fun film and a much under appreciated film.If you like films with plenty of laughs than this film is for you.Kurt Russell was so good in this film.

Breakdown (I) (1997)
A brilliant suspense thriller!
9 July 2003
Jeff Taylor (Kurt Russell) and his wife Amy (Kathleen Quinlan) hope to leave all their troubles behind them unfortunately their car breaksdown in the middle of nowhere.Jeff tries to figure out the problem until Red (Jt Walsh)drives by in his big truck and offers to give Amy a ride to Belle's Diner the only place where you can make an emergency phone call to.Jeff waits by the car and manages to fix it.Soon Jeff makes his way to Belle's Diner to pick up his wife. But When he stops there and asks about his wife nobody is any help and no one has seen her.Jeff catches up with Red's truck and asks about Amy the trucker has no idea what Jeff's talking about and thinks Jeff's mistaking Red for someone else Jeff cannot believe what he's hearing. This is when the film begins to get going Kurt Russell gives an excellent performance as the husband desperately trying to find his missing wife.Kurt is convincing in all his reactions as he sweats and is scared and really angry over the whole situation.Jeff is so anxious the cops are no help and everyone thinks his crazy. This is one of JT Walsh's best roles playing the mysterious guy in the beginning of the film then later on he drops the act and was the villain all along. This is a great suspenseful edge of your seat film if you love these types of films than this is for you.Kurt as always is in good form here this is one of my favourite Kurt Russell films.

Dont miss this fantastic film you will not be disappointed!
23 June 2003
I saw this film when i was just 9 years old Big Trouble In Little China is one of my favourite films with kurt Russell.I bought the Dvd just because of the special features to this fantastic film. The commentary with kurt Russell and his longtime friend director John Carpenter was great Fun. John and kurt talk about the experience of making the film and the fun they had.Whenever john and kurt get together they have alot of laughs and they have quite a fond affection for this film.Jack Burton played wonderfully by kurt russell and is one of my fave actors playing a larger than life guy who sometimes sees himself as the hero but he's actually quite useless.Wang is truly the hero in the film he is absolutely amazing in the fighting sequences.Kurt and Dennis Dunn worked so well together and it was so hilarious whenever they got on each others nerves.Kurt Russell provides us with plenty of comic relief and classic one-liners and i still think it's the funniest lines I've heard in any movie I've ever seen before. When i see this film now i love watching it again and again.Big trouble in little china has lots of thrills a good cast who look like their having fun it's a very crazy film.seeing Kurt as Jack Burton is a blast he is the reason i love the film so much. This is Overall an enjoyable film.

classic line from Jack Burton:"Ok you people!sit tight hold the fort and keep the home fires burning. And if we're not back by dawn...Call the president,"
