It started out pretty good. Cool jump scenes, an ok story. And then maybe 40 minutes into it. The entire narrative shifted from extreme athlete type movie to a nonsensical horror movie with bad makeup and a ridiculous plot. Even the acting got worse, or at least it seemed to.

It's gotten so bad that I'm writing this review with 28 minutes left in the movie playing in the background. 3 stars for scenery and jumps.

Watching the trailer I thought this was going to be a cool survival show. Not even close. It's more of a deep dive into her childhood with a side of wilderness and a whole lot of boredom. Back and forth, back and forth at such a rapid pace, I lost interest after the second episode. Walking, looking, sleeping, eating, more walking, more sleeping....who cares?

So I jumped to the last episode to see what happened. Not even that was interesting. She is walking, sleeping and floating during most of it. I finally jumped to the last 10 minutes and landed on the anticlimactic ending.

I thought Melissa Barrera did a pretty good job despite the terrible script and the scenery was beautiful but the buck stopped there.

I loved the show. The characters mesh well. The story line flows. Some of the situations are a bit unrealistic but hey, it's hollywood. Overall a ton of fun. Can't wait for season 2.

I'm sure I left some out. This show is simply horrendous. Nothing from Sex in the City which I was a fan of is present. Nothing except 3 middle aged characters who are so woke, so whiny, so depressed that it's cringe worthy to watch. And what's up with Carrie's clothes? They are beyond ridiculous.

It's obvious this show was produced with nothing more than an LBGTQ agenda and boy is it. I can't imagine this garbage being picked up for a second season.

Bruce Willis has 11 movies.....ELEVEN....movies in post production so far for 2022 and the year hasn't even started. He's turning them out faster than a day laborer.

American Siege, no different than the rest. Worse maybe. 1 day or less of work, then on to the next stinker.

Great gig if you can get it. Show up on B movie set for a day or two. Utter a few lines, sit on the toilet a while and get a large paycheck.

Willis is obviously on a long money train, doing everything and anything no matter how degrading, no matter how humiliating, no matter how disgracefully bad to get paid.

This was bad, really bad. So bad I'm embarrassed for Bruce Willis. Basically all he did was hide behind bushes and stare into space. He is officially worse than Seagal, worse than Van Damn.

A once fairly cool actor that has sold out for 1 day acting (if you can call it that) gigs for a paycheck. Period. I will NEVER watch another movie with this has-been clown in it again.

As for the rest of the movie, all they did 95% of the time was stand around and talk while Willis hid. That's it.

Never read the books.

Episode 1 - Wow! Beautiful scenery. Cool story. Can't surf the phone while watching this. This show is gonna be good!

Episode 2 - That sure was quick. Right into the endless talking and scenery background. What just happened? Doesn't make sense. Soap Opera?

Episode 3 - Huh? Is this the same show. WTF are they doing? I'm done.

Wanted to like it but the flow is frankly ridiculous. 4 stars for costumes and scenery. Story line 1 star.

Walked out after 35 minutes and I was stoned no less. Just couldn't take it anymore. No idea what this was supposed to be but it was so bizarre it was unwatchable.

Started out with an interesting premise. Jake was on point. But he kept going deeper and deeper into this rabbit hole that by the 2nd half it didn't even make sense. Nothing but whining and crying and a weak twist. Lost interest. Ends up going nowhere.

I love movies with Africa as the backdrop and was looking forward to this movie. The CGI was so bad that it ruined the flow of the movie. It was laughable. It's also one of those movies where the characters do every stupid thing possible in every situation. I ended up rooting for the vicious animals. Overall a huge disappointment.

Sometimes its nice to just sit back and be entertained without having to think. This movie did just that. A fun, dark original ride. Bob Odenkirk was actually believable that he was a tough guy. The supporting cast was spot on.

Would love to see a part 2.

Liam seems to be joining the ranks of Bruce Willis and Nicholas Cage. A smh movie where you sit there and can't believe all of the stupid things everyone does, and how things just happen to fit with the acting school basics of bad guys vs. Good guys.

At the very least I figured Katheryn Winnick from Vikings would add some spice but she was as bland as the rest of the cast.

Finally, the premise of the entire movie was quite ridiculous. I won't spoil it but you'll know what I'm talking about.

An extra star for nice road scenery.

People are in future. People must take ship to save something. People get possessed by aliens. People must kill possessed people. All the while, Bruce is standing around collecting a paycheck for basically doing nothing.

Bruce Willis has become the next Steven Seagal. Pretty soon even Bruce's voice will be dubbed over. He has become a Hollywood embarrassment.

I guess all A listers at some point pick a dog and what a dog this movie is. A slow burn that lacks just about everything that makes a movie good except for some of the scenery. I just drags on and on and on with no depth. A classic example where you keep watching waiting for something to happen and it never does. Then you feel robbed out of 2 hours of your life. One of the most boring movies I've ever seen.

I never considered Pitt to be a great actor but given what he had to work with, he did a decent job.

Finally, I'm not going to go into details but the scientific and physics bumbles in this movie were so bad it was embarrassing. And there were a lot of them. So bad that, that alone ruined it for me.

I really wanted to like this reboot but it's bad, really bad. Jordan Peele, the comedian as narrator. Really?

And then there are the stories. The writing is what really killed if for me. It's flat, generally boring and just doesn't come off well at all. There's really no gotchas at the end. It's kind of like, "this is it, it's over already?"

I thought Star Trek Discovery was pretty bad too in it's first season. But it has turned into one of the best shows on TV. I have hope for Twilight Zone but they really need a complete makover, new writers and a new narrator.

Season 1 needed work but progressively got better. Season 2, well some of the best TV out there. Amazing story line. Good character development. And the effects are amazing.

Kudos to this show. Excellent job all around!

Played like a bad daytime soap opera. The actimg was atrocious. Tatum's emotionless performance was so bad it was laughable. This is just a pile of rubbish.

The first four 9/10 star reviews are all from brand new users with only one review, yep, this mess of a film. It's so obvious it's laughable.

At what point is IMDB going to do something about this. It's unfair to everyone.

The story was pretty cliche. I mean, plutonium, again? Seen that a lot over the years.

But the action and acting more than made up for it. Some of the best effects I've ever seen. Cruise was on his game.

Highly recommend.

The concept is interesting but the plot holes ruined the movie. One in particular was just plain dumb. Without doing a spoiler, lets just say he could have easily ended the situation at least 3 times and didn't. I guess they needed to fill more screen time.

Acting was pretty bad. Cardboard like. Ho hum identification with the characters.

The fight scenes had choreography written all over them.

The story was just plain bad. It went from pretty cool the first 15 minutes to cartoon like the rest of the move until the last minute or two.

The score was non-descript except for the last one.

The CGI was too obviously CGI. Check out the rhinos and you'll know what I mean.

Overall a pretty poor movie that is WAY overrated. How this dog got 7+ here is a real mystery considering the overwhelming sentiment is sub 5 reviews.

Loved the first, didn't care for the second and loved this one. It had heart and soul with some great action and CGI.

They say it's the moviegoer, not the movie. All those folks calling it 'garbage' were probably buried in their phones half the time.

I suggest you put away your electronics and immerse yourself in the movie. It left me with a great feeling and I hope it does for you too.

My only complaint was no matter what the odds and there were many, most of the characters walked away unscathed. Even an old pickup against a gun ship cruiser. So minus 2 stars for that.

Otherwise it was great.

Beautiful score. Scenery is breathtaking. Effects are amazing and the story is beautiful. Netflix pulled out all the stops when funding this masterpiece. I highly recommend you watch it on a big screen. A laptop will not do it justice.

I was drawn in from the first scene to the last. To really appreciate it you have to watch all 10 episodes. The acting in some places was a little rough but like all premiers they have to find their footing. Young Will is some actor. That kid is going to have a big future.

The robot is really indescribable. G-d like almost. The perfect machine. Huge kudos to the designers.

My only complaint is Dr. Smith. She just seems to be evil just to be evil with no real intentions or end game in some cases. I think the casting there was a mistake, hence minus 1 star.

Otherwise, this is a beautiful show. Can't wait till next season!
