Storage Wars: The Lion of Lancaster (2016)
Filmed in Lancaster, CA
This episode was filmed in Lancaster, California, as the title states. It is not filmed in El Monte, California, as two duplicate plot summaries incorrectly stated. Those plot summaries are from an entirely different episode of Storage Wars, from a different show altogether.
This episode is one of the better ones, with plenty of humor from Ivy Calvin, Rene Nezhoda, and Mary Padian. Plus the usual obnoxious antics of Dave Hester, the Yuupp guy, who everybody loves to hate. The beginning segment with the auctioneers Dan and Laura Dotson singing the Lone Ranger theme song at a very fast pace is hilarious!
Daniel Boone: The Matchmaker (1966)
One of the corniest episodes of Daniel Boone
This comedic episode is one of the silliest I've ever seen of the series. Almost reminds you of an F-TROOP or Gilligan's Island episode. The Stinch and Coll characters are definitely played like Laurel and Hardy, in appearance and mannerisms. The acting of all the cast is below par most Daniel Boone episodes. As stated in the other review, the accuracy of the Native American dress and lodging is not exactly correct at all. Also missing much, if any, screen time from Becky and Israel Boone, or Cincinnatus. I guess they got a week off. All in all it was an entertaining episode, just not as much action as usual.
Young Sheldon: A Frat Party, a Sleepover and the Mother of All Blisters (2023)
Hilarious Episode
This was one of the funniest episodes of Young Sheldon I can remember seeing! Most every character had some hilarious lines, and the acting was superb. Missy and Sheldon are growing up more and more with every new show, and creating more headaches for their parents. And Georgie is becoming more fatherly all the time, even giving George Sr. Advice and parenting ideas. Meemaw and Dale's relationship continues to change, and you never know what to expect next from those two. As the series apparently is coming to a conclusion in the near future, it will be interesting to see how the upcoming episodes play out!
