The Passion of the Christ (2004)
i would say its amazing but that doesn't do it justice
I first saw this movie when I was 10 it had first come out and my mom made me watch it with her and some people from church....like most 10 year olds I wasn't interested. another year went by and I still didn't care....I watched it every year since it came out and never felt one thing and I usually walked out and went to play....except for when I watched it this past year I am going through a conversion getting back on track with God..i had lost sight of God and what was right. I am 17 years old and watched it with some kids from my youth group on good Friday...I didn't expect what to happen to happen...it had come to the part where the soldiers started to whip and beat Jesus..some tears started to come down and then all of the sudden a waterfall of tears came down..i was sobbing the entire movie thinking to myself Jesus did this for me and I treat him like crap...he knew full well with every whip that beat him that people like me would still be like "ehh whatever I don't need him". The movie is violent and has gor in it but I wouldn't want it any other way. this was showing exactly what Jesus went through during his passion if they had steered away from making it the way they did it wouldn't be as amazing as it it. its very moving...in fact when we finished watching it (a room full of teenagers!) we sat there in silence for the whole credits and even for alittle bit after! its one of those things where you don't know what to do because you have just been hit so hard with emotion! I will continue to watch this once every year to give myself a visual reminder of everything Jesus went through because he loves me.
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003)
love it
totally 10, i loved this movie there was so many funny parts and i love that fact that shes trying to lose him and hes trying to make her fall in love with him, so hes trying not to leave her. i don't think i stopped laughing, i was to young to understand this movie when it first came out, but then last year, when i was older, i went to my sisters college and she wanted to watch a movie, we watched 13 going on 30 the first night, and then the next night we watched another movie and it was how to lose a guy in ten days,we were cracking up, our favorite parts were the love fern parts, and when he made her a huge dinner how like lamb, and when he finally set the table and got her her food she told him that she didn't eat meat, so they went out to eat somewhere where she could get something that wasn't meat, but she didn't lime what the restaurant had and wanted something meat, and the waitress asked if everything was alright, and Kate Hudson like started fake crying and was like "my boyfriend thinks i'm fat"and she flicked her fork with food on it at Ben, the guy she is trying to lose, and ran back to the kitchen and got something that was meat. we loved it so much that later that night with a bunch of other girls from my sisters dorm, we all watched it again.i would watch this movie like a thousand times and will not get bored
The Game Plan (2007)
good family movie
i loved this movie from like the second it started, it got sad on some parts, like when Joe Kingman(Dwayne)asked his daughter to stay with him but she said no toward the end of the movie that was sad, but other parts were so funny i loved when the little girl gave him the cookies and he was allergic to cinnamon so when he got to the football thing he was talking weird i loved that part i liked when he to dance for his daughter and had to wear the tights at a recital. He goes from a selfish football player, to a loving father. And the end of the movie was such a good ending sometimes i get upset with movies endings but not this one, Dwayne did a good job with that role. this is a movie that i would watch again and again, in fact i would love to own the movie. i totally recommend this movie to anyone, i don't think you'll be disappointed
A Christmas Carol (2009)
love the story and now the movie,
this was such a good movie!i loved it but be aware of the fact that some of the scenes are not for little kids, the end of the ghost of Christmas present was a little weird, and would probably scare little kids, and the ghost of Christmas future is also scary. and some parts in the beginning are scary, but overall, such a good movie, but you HAVE to see it in 3D, i saw in regular version and it was good, its like a roller-coaster at some points and you would want 3D glasses for that, but even in regular its fun.i had to read a Christmas carol for school last year, and i loved the story, then the next year a movie came out and i loved the movie more then i loved the book, its such a good ending, of how scrooge is giving and everything, i love when the carolers are singing and they see Mr.scrooge come and they stop singing because they know he doesn't like it, and he gives them a real like dirty look and then starts singing and then gives them money.this i would love to see again, even if its not in 3D i would love to see it, gets you in the mood for Christmas
Old Dogs (2009)
do not waste your money, critics got it right
basically don't waste your money,i went to see this a couple of days ago, and about 20 minutes into the movie wanted to go home.if your going to take children to see something for the holidays, go to a Christmas carol so much better. the only funny parts of this movie were the previews, the plot of the story was just dumb, jokes were dumb, they were just old stuff, critics got it right for once, usually whenever i hear critics reviews of it. i happen to like the movie and want to see it again and again, but not this one they got it right, save your money,if you want to see it wait until it comes to red box for 1$
Bride Wars (2009)
this is a chick flick/comedy, but overall so good i would watch it again
i loved this movie, i saw this movie when it came out on DVD,because of Kate Hudson, i had recently saw how to lose a guy in 10 days from my sister and loved that movie. when i saw this movie i thought it would be so funny,it didn't really have that many funny parts, there was a couple, me and my sister were cracking up when Kate woke up in the morning and her hair was blue and she went to work because she forgot to get it dyed back to blond, and she used her shirt and wrapped it around her head so the people she was working with wouldn't see her blue hair, and so during her meeting all she had on was her pants a suit jacket and her bra,and it was so funny.then when the shirt fell off her head and she was telling the people that she was fighting with her best friend and everything and then she sat down and she ripped of part of her hair and was like "oh my god i'm gonna be a bald bride"that was funny....it is a chick flick/comedy, for that reason it was good and i would totally watch it again. but its not like one of those comedy's where you are gonna keep laughing
