One of the most messed up animes...I LOVE IT!
16 June 2011
So...How do I explain the plot? I honestly don't know I watched All six episodes and I still have no idea what's going on here but I'll try to explain it the best I can.

Some random kid 12 year old kid named Naota Nandaba has some kinda puberty thing going and one day this crazy b*tch with pink hair on a motorcycle hits him with a guitar and a giant computer robot comes out of his forehead....I am not making any of this up folks a Giant robot climbs out of a 12 year-old boys forehead. And it turns out she's living with his wacko family and has some kinda love interest thing with her and the military....Screw it I can't explain the plot if you got Netflix check it out for yourself Aside from all of this it's an epic acid trip like none other. Weird animation style changes, the facial expressions are priceless and it's fun to watch over and over again trying to make sense out of it...which no one can.

That said if you're a fan of anime this is a must see in any dub Japanese or English 8/10

Billy Madison (1995)
7/10
Adam Sandler at his finest
16 June 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Billy Madison review: Sandler,Sandler Sandler, whats to say about that rapscallion? Well this of course being one of his beloved and best movies he's been in even to this day in this outrageous comedy who believe it or not was directed by a woman.

Billy Madison a grown man with a ridiculously low I.Q repeats his school career to help take his fathers place in the company instead of a greedy corporate jerk. buuut unfortunately he has too start ALLLLLLL the way at the very beginning..... First grade

Seeing a grown man in a class of 6 year olds is normally awkward in movies but Sandler pulled it off flawlessly. He basically is a young kid in a grown mans body

Favorite part you might ask ? The bathtub scene where be pretends the conditioner and shampoo brawl and he's all STOP LOOKING ON ME SWAN >:[

That said if your a fan of Sandlers work or not this is a must see

Donnie Darko (2001)
10/10
Shocking and Brilliant
16 June 2011
Warning: Spoilers
A Spinechilling movie that almost scars you from the disturbing mind of Donnie Drako.

An Skizofrenic teenager played by Jake Gylenhall named Donnie Darko is eccentric in the way he views the world, thinks and acts with an outstanding intelligence it's almost scary.

Has thoughts of time travel, encounters a crazy Lady that looks almost like Doc Brown from Back to the Future and even thinks of a way to time travel. Oh and a creepy ass man in a Bunny suit named Frank follows him around everywhere.

The cinematography is gritty and has a "cold world" kind of feel to it. The quotes are memorable " I met a friend" "Real or imaginary" "HE'S RIGHT THERE" and that scene where he explains the life of a Smurf was funny as hell in a twisted way. Oh and that crazy religious nut person played by Patrick Swayze.

That said it's a very interesting movie from beginning to end I highly recommend you check this one out over and over again. Who knows you might have missed a lot in the first screening :)

PERFECT 10/10

Thor (2011)

Shocking! (Yeah I know bad pun :P
14 May 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Marvels latest hit is Stunning and full of action! After being exiled from Asgard due to greed and power Thor swears to find a hammer known as mjolnir and return to Asgard reunite with his comrade and stop his evil brother.

I must say the God of lightnings leap to the big screen was more amazing then I thought and the 3D was incredible and very clear and crisp. Needless to say the sound is LOUD as hell. I mean damn Now the minor complaint I had was it trying modernize it fortunately it wasn't overdone STAN LEE CAMEO: In the scene where the Crater is discovered that old guy In the truck is the man himself! Also on another unrelated note it was noted that his appearance in Marvel vs Capcom 3 was great timing to tie in with the movie in a way.

That said 8/10!

A wild Goose Chase with too many famous people to count!
7 April 2011
Warning: Spoilers
A spectacular goose chase Directed by Stanley Kramer (Also Know for Guess who's coming to dinner) consisting of an All Star comedian cast to big to count racing to claim $35k from a deceased thief. You got the nagging Mother and law who's contently bitching through out the entire movie, The fat clumsy guy, British Guy, Insane guy who dances to weird ass music, I can't even keep track of them!

Lets just go by the tagline "Everyone who was funny in 1963 is in this movie"

This movie is one of the definitions of Comedy, Slap Stick, Subtlety, Over the top, you name it.

The Characters do tend to get obnoxious at times but not to spoil the end don't worry the naggy woman gets what's coming ;)

If you seen the Modern day equivalent Rat Race this ones a lot more enjoyable If your a fan of nostalgic comedy this is a must watch!

PERFECT 10/10!

If you love Ed Wood You'll love this!
21 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
A cult comedy classic directed by Tim Burton that parodies all those cheesy 1950's sci fi movies. Actually, the poster was what really made me thought this was going to be one of those movies but instead I found out it was a parody. Kudos to the man who drew that.

So yeah, you got the typical cliché cast Jack Nicholson as the President. The obnoxious billionaire, The trailer park people, the dumb one, and of course the creepy CG Aliens who only know to destroy. And they attempt to reason with them....but they NEVER learn. And this ultimately leads to the downfall.

If you liked cult sci fi movies or stuff like Mystery Science theater 3000 or hell it has an Ed Wood like feel to it. Definitely give this movie a check out.

A perfect adaptation of Shakesperes best!
9 March 2011
Does this REALLY need an introduction? Weather you read the book, watch any reincarnation of movies or hell neither you should at least know this Shakespeareian classic or the gist of it. Lets break it down

Montague and Capulates: Hate each other.

Romeo (Leonard Whiting) is a Montague Juliet (Olivia Hussey) is a Capulet Life a b*tch ain't it? But does that stop them? You bet your a$$ it doesn't!

The famous Balcony scene O Romeo where art thou Romeo?, The sappy romance, The tragic death it's all in here and The Characters are portrayed perfectly just like in the book ( Thank you English Class for drilling it into our heads AND making it fun :3

Though it depends if you have a tolerance for the cheesy romance scenes or Shakespere just sickens you will determine if you will hate or love it.

That said even if your not much of a reader at least give this version a try. Truly a great adaptation on one of Shakesperes finest!

A fun and quirky Road trip movie!
9 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
A quirky comedy adventure with a great lovable cast of Steve Carrell, Greg Kinear, the adorable Abigale Breslin who pretty much stole the show,

Basically Olive gets a call saying she's qualified for the Little Miss Sunshine beauty pageant which means it's a roadtrip for the dysfunctional family consisting of Dwayne who takes a vow of silence (but not for long) A crazy grandpa a suicidal uncle and of course the parents. Lots of things happen family argues the famous VW bus where all of them have to run and jump in the thing. The ending ( which made me awkward on so many levels ._.) and lots more.

Very cute movie great cast and story. That's all there is to say about it.

Exciting from Start to finish!
9 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Based on the classic SNL skit of the awesome duo John Belushi and Dan Akroyd they finally get there shot on the big screen! After getting out of Jail Jake reunites the band to save their hometown!

But they have lots of people who want them dead. The cops, Some crazy bitch who tries to kill them at every turn, and even Nazis! That's right Nazis!

What really was the highlight was not the Epic chase scene at the end or the car falling from the sky no it was the catchy, energetic and fast paced music and dance scenes! Hell, even I felt like dancing a bit <3

Not to mention you got cameos by Aeretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Cab Calloway, and Carrie Fishers gad freakin' zooks!

That all said this is one hell of an enjoyable movie from start to finish I definitely recommend you watch this with your friends.

PERFECT 10/10

Dude... ._.
8 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
This is beyond effed up I mean seriously this has gotta be the most disturbing movie I have ever seen so far... And I'm sure there's a hell lot more out there.

Now Keep in mind, I'm still new to the horror/thriller Genre I personally don't mind it but bare with me.

Crazy German Doctor traps 2 chicks from NYC and a Chinese guys imprison them in his basement and sews there heads to each others a$$es creating a human centipede and preform disturbing experiments.

Credit for originality in torturing but that doesn't changed how sick this movie really is. And by the way you DO NOT want to know how they go to the bathroom. Whats worse is that the two girls in the back are crying and moaning throughout the whole movie...Look kid I hate to say it but you're pretty much screwed there your moaning is only making it worse.

However there is a HUGE plothole I noticed. In the middle one of the girls uses her teath to free herself from the ropes restraining her. And there's a phone RIGHT IN THE ROOM Why the hell could'nt she do that before WHILE THE DOCTOR WAS GONE? Also this is when they still had there bodies but no instead she tries to escape.

I'm not giving anything else away but don't expect a happy ending

Well whatever, this movie is Definitely not for the faint of heart even I found some parts disturbing as hell but fortunately It takes more then that to scar me.

That said I give it a 5.5/10

Wow...Just wow.
2 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
People I think I have my new favorite movie Kicking Singing in the Rain to a #2 spot! Uma Thurman brilliantly plays a blood hungry assassin wakes up from a four year coma and plots revenge on the people that killed her unborn child and ruined her life.

This is by far one of the most amazing...whatever kind of movie this is called. It's an epic feast for the eyes of blood spewing everywhere sword fighting, martial arts and just plain fun action and violence plus sprinkle a little bit of Dark Humor. I also gotta give credit for the outstanding acting the characters are merciless cold and don't easily forgive almost to the point where it's frightening.

.

Oh yeah almost forgot about the theme song and the one liners. "You didn't think it'd be that easy did you" "For a second there...yeah >:)

Freaky Friday (1976)

Well...It was good for the time being.
30 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Hmm... I must say this is one of those movies that sort of has aged over the years being this movie was made in the 70's Nothing wrong with that but the movie is kind of boring for the younger viewers.

A young Jodie Foster plays a Preteen tomboy who gets into a lot of trouble with her family and social life. Till one day in some unexplained turn of events her and her mom Switch bodies.

What kinda gets to me is that they never explained how it happen. Was it in the food in the restaurant? I WANT TO KNOW!!! D:

Now to be fair it has its share of funny scenes. Like when the Mom is water skiing and such.

This is the very few instances where I prefer the remake to the original.

So overall, The movie is kind of outdated, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, Jodie Foster did have fun making this film so I should give credit for that. If you feel like taking a trip down memory lane this is for you.

No Just No
26 August 2010
Wow, this has got to be the worst movie I've seen in my life AND all year.

Holy crap I mean they just throw in pop culture references every five FREAKIN SECONDS.I'm all like ENOUGH ALREADY!! I swear to god it's so bad I was hitting my self because it was so painful to watch.

Good analogy Have you ever seen Brawl Taunts? Well it's like that with 1000x the awful jokes.

I take it this crap was made by the same docuhebags who did Epic Movie AND Meet the Spartans. But this was the worst of all.

In fact I can't believe I'm saying this but I'd ACTUALLY rather watch Twilight then this poorly written parody. See the irony in that? So yeah, AVOID THIS MOVIE AT ALL COSTS!

Really? That's the 20th anniversary special?
11 January 2010
That's it? A documentary of The Simpsons in the past 20 years? Come on Groening you could've done a million things for this! Instead you give us an episode about Krusty getting married? What a load of crap! Now to be fair, it was kind of interesting to learn about stuff about The Simpsons that not many people know about. But still I think they could've put a lot more effort into it. Actually, to be honest I kinda liked it. But I don't think that many people will watch a boring documentary about the series. Knowing the attention span of some people. They'll shut it off after 5 minutes. In short it could've been a lot better. Here's to another 20 years!

Jaw Dropping Special effects=yes Originality=no
8 January 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Although the originality is lacking not to mention it sounds a LOT like Pochahauntaus it still is an awesome movie. The Jaw Dropping 3D is amazing though some parts were kind of boring. Unlike Titanic the story is fast paced and gets to the action. As said before it's very unoriginal. You got environmental overtones " The Big Bad Military" and a lot of clichés. If it wasn't for the special effects I would of walked out on this movie. If you plan to go on the movies see this now. I'm pretty sure it won't be the same on DVD. People have also said that there are a lot of Hebrew speaking but I thought that was bogus. Overall I give it a 8/10 losing points for unoriginality.
