Best Comedy Show Ever
23 February 2010
In my opinion of course, this is the best comedy television show I have ever seen. I never seem to like TV shows, other than Dexter. But this, this is something I haven't seen before. A good comedy show.

The characters, Dennis, Dee, Mac and Charlie are all one of a kind, hilarious every episode, hilarious towards each other. They all seem to treat each other like crap, but in the end, are still 4 friends who own Paddy's. Danny DeVito came on to the show as Frank, and I thought he was a great add. He is very funny in this, and has his moments of amazing. With all five of these characters, it makes the show great and unique.

This show is not one you usually see, where everyone is cheesy, corny, and has the added in clapping in the background after each joke. This show, you actually laugh while you watch it, and don't have to be told when a joke is said since there is no clapping. If you want to see a good comedy, this is it. I thought for a while Two and A Half Men was hilarious, but then it just kept getting repetitive and boring. Then I discovered this, and was immediately hooked. It's like crack. Every episode is different, and they are all hilarious, and there hasn't been a bad episode yet!

Action Flick...But Nothing Else
23 February 2010
When I viewed the trailer online when I first heard about, I thought that it looked like a cool, fast-paced action flick. Then I kept seeing the preview for it whenever I went to other movies. I concluded that it was a must-see. Well do I wish I could get my money back! I got what I wanted...a fast paced action movie. But what else did I get? Nothing.

First of all, this movie had no story at all. I can say that this movie is nothing but gun fights, swearing and killing. If you want to see a movie with a story, go somewhere else. Second, I did not like the chemistry between Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. It looked more awkward than anything, but I didn't really like them together. But, nonetheless, the action was quite spectacular, and that is one part of the movie I actually was pleased with.

Lastly, the ending was extremely cheesy and made me sit in my seat in awe. It was probably one of the worst endings I've seen. BUT, if you do love hardcore action and gun fights, then you may like this movie. If you do decide to go, turn off your mind, sit with your friends (and popcorn), and enjoy the show. If you go there expecting some sort of plot, you will be sadly disappointed.

Pure Brilliance
23 February 2010
I knew this film was going to be amazing when I first heard of it. Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Martin Scorsese, and that's all I gotta say. Leonardo DiCaprio has been one of my favorite actors since "The Basketball Diaries." Once again, he shined in this movie, and his performance was unbelievable. Mark Ruffalo was a great supporting actor as well.

Let's start with the story. Everybody knows from the trailer, that basically 2 US Marshalls go to Shutter Island to investigate a missing patient. Sounds pretty great. It's not until you see the movie, you capture everything. It is definitely the best psychological thriller I've ever seen. With this film, it actually has a great plot, and since it's a psychological thriller, you actually have to pay attention and think (duh). No bathroom breaks during this movie, or else you may miss something important.

The twist with this film was perfect, and some people may have been able to guess it before they even seen the movie. Who is patient 67? But it's not until you see the full movie that you understand everything. It isn't a predictable twist, and by that I mean if you knew it before, you probably didn't know how everything came to be. I'm a hard movie critic, but I will probably see this once again, and will most likely buy this when it's out on DVD. It's that good.
