Aquaman (2018)
Overdone, but who cares
I have to say, with a superhero movie I dont expect an oscar movie. So keeping in mind what it is, I was entertained. Great cinematography, effects, and some great acting talent. I cant complain. Overdone a bit,... but when the subject is a character like "Aquaman" what did you think we were getting?
Annihilation (2018)
Disappointing
Visually pretty. Story is discombobulated, and most of the characters are pathetic.
Kurt Braunohler: Trust Me (2017)
Raging liberals will love it
Kurt spends a majority of his show spewing politically correct talking points. His assertions are completely wrong of course, and he really does "knows nothing" as he admits in the show. He should spend some time reading before making such false claims, or I don't know come up with some jokes. Complete waste of time for anyone that was interested in watching a comedy show, and not a political diatribe.
Butter (2011)
insulting and lame
The movie looked like it would be funny based on the trailer. It was however; a political diatribe. Jennifer Garner's character was fashioned after Sarah Palin in my estimation and every stereotype you can think of for conservative middle America. It was pretty insulting to be honest. It would have been one thing if all social groups were made fun of; but that was not the case. I was also struck by the narrator's derogatory comments about white people throughout the movie. I have no idea what was suppose to be funny about that, or what it brought to the story. I really couldn't see how race had anything to do with a comedy about butter carving. I can't think of a reason why it is OK to be negative about any race weather they are a minority or not. I hope the director/studio can spend less time making political statements and more time making something that is actually funny.
