Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)
DO NOT OVER ANALYSE THIS FILM!
I really do not understand people over analysing this film and many other movies also. This is a godzilla film, i grew up on godzilla films in the past and i used to love them. Those movies almost never had a decent plot nor character development, just a guy in a suit fighting a other guy in a suit destroying model cities and explosions, rockets and laserbeams everywhere!
I had a really really good time in the theater, i also choked up a little when i heard the original theme song by akira ifukube..I FREAKING LOVE GODZILLA MARCH!!
All in all there are some really dumb choices made by the characters, but yeah it is a GODZILLA movie, you need to expect that..But when it comes to the action and the monster designs they are spot on! Just go and see this movie leave your brain at the door and enjoy yourself!
The Big Brain Theory (2013)
big brain theory...stupid
I watched this show with a bunch of "smart" people, with some of the stupidest ideas ever.. never once have i seen a good working concept developed into an idea. "Smart" people tend to over think things, and that is obvious in this show. there were some good ideas that were dismissed by the also not so smart jury..
Even when a good idea gets voted by the jury the execution is soo bad it made me wanna cry and wonder what happened to the good old discovery channel, in times far gone when you learned something by watching this channel.
It's really a slap in the the face of actual smart people, don't watch it you will get dumber by the minute..
Defendor (2009)
Great movie!!
In a time when it seems Hollywood has lost all of it's imagination, comes Defendor!!!
A very well put together movie with a very likable character, that made me want to go out into the world and do some good. I laugh out loud when he fell in the dumpster and didn't remember the trash collecting days. I can recommend this movie to all movie lovers, you won't be disappointed. I was touched, elated and most definitely impressed by what they put on the screen considering the budget was so small. I can only hope that the crap storm of bad copy's and remakes stops now, and Hollywood gets inspired again to do better movies.
Yours sincerely,
Raphael.
