Shadow Hours (2000)
The "Devil" Working for God
Remember that the one who said "I'm your angel Michael, here to protect you" (or something like that) also said "You have to go all the way down, to the pits, hitting rock bottom before you come out of this" (or similar words).
He gave Michael an overdose of moral evil, the max being such selfish greed that ... (I won't tell not to spoil it.)
What the angel had told Michael said true, he did not lie. And when he saw the positive result at the end of his work with Michael, he went over to the next one in line who needed the same kind of help.
Great movie!
The Fourth Kind (2009)
Relieved that little girl was not really lost forever...
I found this a very emotionally impressive film. Especially because I believed it was a report of a true historical occurrence. Yet there was one thing that did not make sense to me: the not returning of the abducted little girl. Because from what I have read about abduction cases, abductees are always being returned. So in that sense I am relieved to find out the film was not based on actual historical facts.
Besides that it is a marvelous very well thought out story. And -except for that girl not being returned- it is based on what many among us do indeed experience.
Today I started to read Harvard prof. John Mack's "Abduction" again. The last time was when it came out years ago. If I remember well there is a story in it about a well to do man who during one of his abductions suddenly switched bodies with a Grey, and found himself as a Grey looking at his human body laying there on the examination table. He said he felt great as a Grey, much better than as a human, and that from then on he identified more with being an extra-terrestrial than with being from earth, and always looked forward to the next encounter of which he had many. Because of that experience -as well as others I had- I understand that those abductions are symbolic of what happens when we focus ourselves onto our human bodies and this world. On a subconscious level many of us are still not sure about the meaning of love: is it selfish or unselfish? Because it brings so much joy with it, we though that we loved only because of the happiness that it gave us. Yet on the other hand we believed that our love was unselfish. Both sides of that doubt were then projected into this world by giving ourselves the human experience of being part selfish and part altruistic. And this also involved testing each other to discover the real nature of our love. This testing is then by some of us experienced as being done by "others" that are not from this world, not remembering that the "others" are in truth interpretations we make of our subconscious selves or souls.
Here is a very interesting documentary about Dr. John Mack and -among others- a case of 62 children collectively seeing an alien craft and beings while on the playground of their school:
