They changed the title on us, so I've seen this twice. Turns out that's fine. I enjoyed the second run, remembering the 5 I gave it before.

It's safe to say that I didn't get much on the first viewing, based on the second viewing. For the second viewing, I got a lot more, but probably not 100%, for sure.

Accessing this work will require prep; the atmosphere of the work is genuinely copying Blade Runner, so the viewer can feel a familiar place, time, and existentialism. I took this to mean that replicants were in the film, and during the second viewing again, I thought I was dealing with replicants, but that's not the case. I won't spoil it because you might enjoy the film and there is a necessary element; anyway, they're not replicas. They are heavily alienated, though.

The second and last key: 2.00x. No joke. Best wishes, it's tolerable and I liked it.

The CW, now standing for Capitalist Wasteland, has been a reliable delivery machine of hope to me since Sept 2001.

As a typical US American I was without healthcare some of this time.

Even when homeless, I got to see beauty delivered Canadian style. This last episode marks the end.

No more symbols.

No more inexplicable doctoring. No more business in hope.

To the Joker's daughter, I laughed. To a super Dad, I did cry. And to the kids that grew before me, I hoped. To those without faces, I enjoyed. Ty for letting people do their best. It worked. Some might call that an American Dream.

The soundtrack is unforgettable. The soundtrack rose to the 48th best selling album of the year in '95. Every college student had a copy. It was the the go to mix for a generation.

Well, that was satisfying.

OK the production value is the worst, no doubt. But I'm here for vengeance and I got it good. Don't discard the opening and closing scenes as unreasonable. I laughed hard at the last line.

Give it a chance, it's only 1hour 7 minutes. Even better at 1.25x. Lol.

A trip though a contemporary Russian city that started as a Gulag. The history and life today are shown to us through a citizenry always on the verge of escape.

We are locked within the Arctic Circle, in a sea of white and stepping on graves everywhere. Escape? How much you got? And do you have your papers?

In the end, a flight to St Petersburg brings a refreshing smile. And we are spared the knowledge of any returnees.

Our Captain reminisces back to the time she was kidnapped and held for ransom. By the Second in Command. Before they got on this spaceship. To another solar system.

Now, I know that doesn't make any sense but it is accurate. Let me try again.

So, like the person in charge of our spaceship you know, to an alien civilization, is also a kidnapping victim (could you believe?), in a Another Life. Like, you know, years ago. And so now like, the 'KnR' specialist (you know KnR, right, yea) is like an officer now, high up you know like, on the bridge of the person they kidnapped years earlier. Yea, no, that doesn't likely make sense either.

Someone on a ship was kidnapped by someone else who is also in this ship. That, that... Yes, that's how we can make sense of this tripe.

Needles and Pins explores the tattoo culture in various worldly places. Our very captivating host starts in Las Vegas and takes us both on and off Strip. From casino shops that don't hire Artists to the back street ally cats punk'in all nite. 42 minutes of LV culture. Followed by an amazing trip to South Korea. Just give it a try and get hooked.

Every vignette is tried and familiar. Possibly generated by an AI. Strangely this lets the tat's shine. The tats are the best part and I liked them. Somehow COVID-19 wiped the slate clean of tattoo shows that don't pull hair. So atm, this is it. 6 eps at 1080 non hdr. I can't imagine using anything more than counterfeit money for access to this show. The tats were good so we will yearn for more. Till the next new format that is. 'Redo', no kidding.

Does it matter if you are a drop or the water? Yes and no. That's the tragedy of hidden heroes. The waterfall we are all rushing to, the edge, the cliff, the plunge and the rest and peace. I wish I had that courage. Thankfully, I've never been tested so.

I was surprised and disappointed in your faith. You actively rebuked Evil and yet still thought the ether "would not give you more than you could take", as though you had some evidence that had ever been the case. If the ether is willing to let his own son be tortured and left to die, then why should it care about you and yours? Really that's a bridge too far.

My chest clinched when our first hero finally fell. And the ending is simply an impossible ending in Hollywood. I know of no other film where everyone...

Is that respect or something more between them? This film is less flashy with it's relationships than we are used to. 'Trust' takes time to build, and loyalty is displayed with beauty. "The Force is with me and I am one with the Force"...

I wasn't sure I really loved this film so I saw it again, and again. And I do. The film is just so respectable and the end is to die for. Even if by Vader's red saber.

Please give it a chance and know how unusual it is.

I was born in '69 to hippies, educated for free by the state of California. They taught the following generations and earned a place in the middle-class.

But the American Dream is a fantasy in reality for most Americans when you look at our demographic data. And this film takes place just after the Dream was defined as 'a successful career'.

But in reality, reality is very persuasive and for most, overwhelming. What if, instead of McNamara, you or your child witnessed the man who self-immolated? And what would your childhood be like when the facade of the American Dream is shown on TV every night by Cronkite? What would you have done? Accept being a redneck or leave for the city/university to influence positive change? It's one thing to be taught our Constitution and it's a completely different thing to learn our history and our reality.

The film perfectly navigates racial and economic revolutions through the lens of a family. The actors are fantastic. The whole film feels real. Some of the characters could have been my relatives. And the role of daughter is so well thought out and supported with dialogue that the film can amaze.

The characters are full and the plot is as well. This film has a place on our history shelf's. It can be impactful if you let it. I am thankful for this work.

Didn't know what I was getting into, so the aerial views of our East coast was a beautiful surprise. The colors popped off our screen.

The film's setup can be a bit confusing but it's simple enough. The whole film is more a slide show of America and our people, than a mystery.

Personally I don't subscribe to Harley mania but I am very familiar with this vein of our country of peoples.

The movie is not sad but more beautiful than anything. What a great accomplishment for the actor, writer, and director who are all the same guy. Gina is perfect, and Tom gives it his best (though I don't think he actually rides, lol).

The California/Santa Monica bit was as accurate as my life. The beauty that comes from success at being Americans with careers and healthcare.

It's a nice, easy and visually appealing film for a Saturday night. The American Dream realized and reaffirmed on film.

Wow, a cop show without perps. A TV drama with guns and not 'necessary' evil. Moral, caring cops with emotional consequences. Explosions, when all else fails.

I like 'The Unit' (also on CBS) when it addresses the egregious use of force needed to defend against force and the guilt that comes from fighting evil with evil actions. They have their moments of destruction far from home and leave the guilt for later (when they are home). Flashpoint takes place down the street. In your office building or mall. The consequences of action or inaction are to be replayed in their mind, home, community and above all on TV. And despite the preparations our heroes take, it just doesn't assuage the situations that go tits up.

This show is grounded in moral motives that will pierce the heart of it's viewers. Let the Rambo's have their shows, and let us tread the thin, ever moving and twisting thin blue line of Flashpoint. In the show's own words, "We're not here to target practice, we're here to save lives".

Finally an important film about the role of religion in the universe, as a tool for subjugating the masses and it's necessity for committing xenocide (the killing of an entire species). If moral motive power is of concern to you, this film will hammer at your core.

Scene after scene we see the banal marching and singing to their death. For the defense of the Federation 'Honor, Loyalty and Service' combine to lift the human spirit to fight and hang their own when not defending the universe from insects and their innate desire to end objectivism. We are shown the enemy and it is free will. The outcome, should never be in doubt, for either side to win, free will must die.

Time has nibbled on the edges of Robocop giving the following generations a farcical view of the religion of the American 1980's. We now view that movie as testimony to the power unrest gives to those in power. And where Robocop showed us the powerful pulling the strings, Starship Troopers 3 gives us the view on the ground. What goes though the hearts and minds of men when fear without reason allows the shackles of authoritative government to be traded for the release of kneeling to religion. We are shown the desperate nature of the uneducated seeking peace from the easiest source. The bewildered and lonely sacrifice their individuality for the love of blind devotion. The old, educated elitist marching aimlessly out of inertia, to tired to light an enlightened path. And finally, the daily struggle of the average man against relentless professions of miracles scumming to the power of faith.

The good guys win, the bad guys remain in control and the blood on the walls is a pretty shade of rose. Prepare for the death of man and the continuation of mankind.

Invasion.Of.The.Pod.People should not make it to DVD.

The plot has major problems, the script couldn't get a D- in a high school film class, the camera had the finesse of a single chopstick, direction was completely absent, and the costumes made our heroine look like she just entered the third trimester. The dramatic tension came only from knowing it wasn't over yet. The effects consisted of a ginger root in a flower pot.

This is not a B movie, there is not one redeeming feature in this work, even the titillation, that started halfway through, was not erotic and the actress giving cunnilingus may have been asleep during filming.

I could go on, but please don't watch this film. It could made you feel like a pod.

Easy, breezy indy 'road' flick taking place in small town, USA. The title being metaphorical.

Well written with actors giving dead on performances. After first viewing and feeling full 'n satisfied I made a second run through Kwik Stop and worshiped the dialog. Tightly written and delivered invoking awe, in each scene, of the direction. Yet the film does not hem itself in as the very last scene invokes a theme from earlier that blows open the possibilities of the final three characters. With rumination, I like the ending more and more; realizing the screenwriter's almost dare to the viewer.

Yes it is, yet another youth 'learning and growing' distopian tale that have been coming so frequently of late, and seem to be the 'fast ticket' to Sundance/Hollywood (thank god for p2p). In this style, the lyrics of each song fills in the natural voids of communication between the proto-typical teens, and does this well.

There is little to no violence or nudity, shocking or otherwise, to stir up inflated buzz. This results in Kwik Stop having to be judged on more quaint qualities where it smacks the 'brown bunny' with 'love and a 45'. (The bunny 45 thing is a reference to the film's peers and are not in Kwik Stop.)

The Trixie character is very original and inviting. Her story is amazing and touching. The verbal battle between Trixie and the Senator is complex beauty. Every performance is great by the the well casted. I found Trixie to be a warm and very interesting movie.

Was the titillation of seeing the stars naked supposed to overcome the trite and tired plot? Either way this movie would bore a twelve year-old on up to 112 year-old. Joseph Fiennes is perfectly two dimensional and Heather Graham's "Doe-in-the-Headlamps" eyes come off as uninteresting and possibly brain-dead. Lastly, this movie can be judged by is cover. If that picture of the two stars intrigues you then ya might like the movie more than I.
