Resident Evil (2022)
The pain is real
The possibilities were endless. For fans of the original movie and game series, there was so much hope leading up to the release of this new show. We deserved something worthy.
What we got was one of the dumbest scripts in the history of television. How this got signed off on in the first place is beyond me. I gave this a 2 rating, only because I do appreciate the effort by the actors.
I'm heartbroken. The fans deserved better. I was as excited about this series as any before, only to experience one of the worst shows I've ever seen. Damn you Andrew Dabb.
Outer Banks (2020)
Entertainment 10, storyline 1.
Maybe the most annoying and frustrating series I've ever watched. The ridiculous and stupid storyline has plot hole after plot hole. At the end of the day, the main characters make it sufferable and it's worth binging if you've got the time, but this might be the most grotesque example of lazy writing that I've ever witnessed.
My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman: Dave Chappelle (2020)
Fantastic conversation
Any type of long form discussion with Dave Chappelle is a treat, but this was exceptionally great. Their admiration and respect for each other made it feel like a wholesome conversation between two friends.
Westworld: The Mother of Exiles (2020)
Another amazing episode
So many questions answered, yet still so much to figure out.
Kevin Hart: Don't F**k This Up (2019)
Don't let these crybabies and snowflakes sway you...
Not sure how the world will survive if everyone continues to get this offended and emotional over peanuts...
With that being said, this documentary was good. Not great, but above average. Great insight to the trials and tribulations of one of the biggest stars on the planet. Overall it was pretty much what I thought it'd be, but maybe just a little deeper and raw than expected, which for this series was a good thing.
In the Shadow of the Moon (2019)
The cries of "Left Wing Propaganda" are comical. Put down the Kool-aid people
I created an account just so I could leave this review.
Did the film have some plot holes? Of course it did.
Was it one of the great "time travel" films our generation? Not at all.
But the number of reviews talking about how dangerous the premise of this was, and how this was nothing more than left wing propaganda... c'mon people. You're better than this. No one is saying that you can justify killing a bunch of people for have different ideas than you. But if you were given the chance to travel back in time and pull the plug on, I don't know, say 20 year old Adolf Hitler, would you do it? Yes, no, it doesn't really matter. However, if you have a problem with someone creating a film around the same type of idea, then go pick a flick from kids section of Netflix and leave this movie for the adults.
