Random internet clips ruin film
25 April 2024
I couldn't event make it through the first entire episode of the series. Between the memes, and internet ransoms "reacting" to court footage. This is the laziest and most boring way to cover this story. The entire trial was filmed, which provided more than enough footage for a documentary series. These producers are morons. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Instead of using more archival footage and more actual court room footage and testimony, they rely on random internet users, especially some random guy in a dead pool mask. How are these producers actually giving this the green light? Not worth the watch. Save your time.

Barry: wow (2023)
Season 4, Episode 8

I've never been more dissapointed

Warning: Spoilers
I love Bill Hader. I LOVED this series, for the first two seasons. I got lost in season 3, and literally could finish season 4. I will always admire and love Bill Hader, but these last two seasons were garbage lazy writing. There were multiple huge story lines that never had an ending. Why was Barry poisoned for it to mean nothing? Why was Christiobal electrocuted for it to mean nothing? Gigantic plot plot points that never amounted to a thing. I will love Bill Hader no matter what, but come on, Barry deserved better. This series deserved better. The ending had NO meaning. Barry deserved BETTER.

Hollywood: The Fabulous Era (1962 TV Movie)
9/10
Oldie but a goodie
29 July 2023
If you love classic Hollywood and would like a 101 crash course with a touch of 60s Hollywood production, this film is for you. It's a nice overview of the world of Hollywood during its golden era. From the silent days, to the "talkies", the way in which film changed so drastically is highlighted in this film. It's full of classic clips and gives a brief overview of the studio system and the Hayes code. It even pokes fun at its self, which I found to be refreshing. Watching this film (1962) in 2023, is fascinating as we are twice as far from this film, as this film is to its subject. We are in need of an update!
