Historias breves IV: Te llevo en la sangre (2004)
A great hilarious short film
If you like football (soccer, no American football), if you like comedy and hilarious movies, if you like to see great actors, so you have to see this short film. Mario (Roly Serrano) is big fan of Chacarita Juniors, a big and popular team in Argentina, and his son, Lucas (Fernando Roa), is going to make his debut on the first team against Chacarita's historic rival, Atlanta. Even the grandfather (the great Juan Manuel Tenuta) have a big emotion of this notice. But Chacarita ask Lucas to make the AFAF, a blood test to know if you're are or not supporter of the team. This short film was win the Jury's prize of the 3º Short film festival of Punta del Este (Uruguay), in 2004 and it has been in 19º Mar del Plata International Film Festival (Argentina, 2004). Also is now in competition in 3 new festivals: Guadalajara (Mexico, march 2005), Cartagena (Colombia, march 2005) and Montevideo (Uruguay, march-april 2005).

A great animation movie
In effect, the other commentary of this movie says everything that could be say for this excellent movie. I want to say that this movie and "On the comet (Na komete) are two of the best animation movies that I ever saw. I saw this movie in 35 mm at "Cinemateca Uruguayan" because there was playing a Karel Zeman's homage, but I think that it's necessary to review this classics films and to get it on VHS or DVD. Zeman is a genius director with the mix of animated stop-motion frames and people, filming in studios or in natural locations and also drawing over the negative, painting it, all the technics are used with masterly.
C'était un rendez-vous (1976)
A great short
It's a typical take by Lelouch: the magic of cinema, surprises in the end, a "how they do this with a camera?"... If you have seen the Lelouch's short for "Lumiere & Co." it's the same thing always, it's a magician of nothing, but all that "nothing" is "brillant" in the way that he show it on the screen. A lot of thing, maybe it's not good at all, but we can't stop to see this movie, it's amazing, we are part of all the movie like in a "camera car" or "camera moto" (for me it's a moto) of Formula 1... I would like so much to see this short in a big screen, projected...
I think it's pure cinema.
La foto de Lucas (2001)
Excellent
A great short film. A girl is trying to get a picture of a little boy who disappear in every moment, with an end like Lumiere's pictures, the train and the magic of photographic art. Christian Stauffacher is the director's name.
