I think this is the most underrated movie I have ever seen. IMDB rating of 5.7 doesn't do justice. It's a courtroom drama/comedy. We don't have a lot of titles in this genre. Another one that comes to my mind is My cousin Vinny.

The Amazing Spider-Man

Weak Story, Weak Spiderman, Why Reboot

I am huge marvel fan but I think this is the weakest marvel movie I have seen in last 3-4 years. Movie is lacking passion and energy. Story is weak and Andrew Garfield was very cocky and weak. First of all let me start with some concrete statistics, I really don't understand why marvel has rebooted the series in first place, the original spider man (1,2, and 3) rank in first top 25 "All-Time USA Box office" list

Looking at these numbers, all movies did well, and I don't see a problem continuing with same spider man and then further continue the series.
Talking about "Amazing Spider Man" story was very choppy and rushed, director has left a lot questions unanswered:
-What was the role of Indian actor Irfan Khan in the movie? Is he the villain in "ASM 2"? He left with the vial from the Oscorp building . What happened to it?
-Super hero's are meant to be stronger not weaker but all action in this movie was defense, no offense from spider man.
-Why spider man WEBS/WEBBING were coming out from electronic device in his arm? Why?, spider man based on the comic should have those coming out of hands.
-When the police officers got attacked by "THE LIZARD" and they were exposed to "REPTILE MIX GREEN GAS " all were supposed to become lizards why they were not giving hard time to Spiderman when he was fighting "The Lizard / Dr. Curt Connors " in the end of the movie.
I think over all movie was disappointment from my point of view. I hope Webb can pull a better movie next time.

I not sure what to right, in 2011, this was my second marvel movie and the both were fantastic (TOR + Captain America). I love it. Guys just go and watch. I am waiting on the Avengers now. Also, don't miss out the credits they will show the Avengers trailer in the very end. This movie starts from the making of the "Captain America" and beautifully ends up in the New York City current day where Steve Rogers and head of STARK foundation meet. Movie has a lot of details about Captain America. Only thing which I might question was gun used by Steve. I don't recall from comics that captain America has gun but maybe I am wrong. Also, what I like was Tony Stark's father Howard Stark in the movie.
