Kill Switch (2008)
Another 21st century action-packed-nonsense!
Don't get me wrong because I like Seagal! I like the way he beats the living hell out of the bad guys, it gives me a warm satisfying feeling. Unfortunately; though, it's been going downhill for this actor. I remember Nico, Hard to Kill and Marked for Death, all of which were top of the notch Seagal-stuff but even so neither of his titles are quality products worth Oscars or emmies and there's not much to say about the plot because anyone can join at any given time of the film and still be able to figure out who the bad guy is and what's going on. In his movies Seagal is either married or divorced and sometimes (most times) he even has children, all of which are exposed to danger from the second they're introduced until they either die or the bad guy dies.
Kill Switch is no different from the description above and for 96 minutes you'll be exposed to heavy duty-assaults and forensic investigations, lots of fighting, lots of shooting and indeed lots of bodies but NO BLOOD!!! On numerous occasions Seagal is in a fight with 1 or 2 guys that are in for their worst day ever (or so it would seem). Seagal punches really hard but there's no blood to be seen and once it does actually come out it's gone as soon as they roll on to the next scene. The entire movie is like a deja-vu experience because every time Seagal throws the bad guy into a wall (or something similar, and it happens a lot) they show that scene repeatedly for 3 or 4 times. Then there's the shooting, I never seen somebody aim that bad! Seagal empties 50 magazines without even hitting once!
Point being, if you're a Seagal-fan you're probably in for a disappointment. It lacks a lot of that originality his titles used to have back in the 80's and 90's...
Eddie Murphy: Raw (1987)
comment on spoonerstreet
What you're saying is partially arguable because apart from the filming and body language he did quite well on this one. I wouldn't necessarily say it's better than Delirious because the focus on both episodes are on different things. Delirious was very diverse and he kept talking about singers, actors and what not. In Raw however he's more focused on relationship and sex, while that may come of as redundant at times is not a big deal here.
Nevertheless, whether he has grown a little more in Raw is obviously a natural course by nature and shouldn't be counted against his performance. Take it from me you should really be thinking about two things when deciding on which one you should watch first! The first one is what kind of subject you're interested in, actors and singers or sex and relationships? The second deals with your own personality as the vocabulary is more vulgar in Raw.
Last thing to note here is that both are extremely offensive at times and sensitive people should really be thinking twice before watching either...
Knight Rider (1982)
Knight Rider
For those of you that doesn't know what Knight Rider is all about, I can say that it's by me the best television show ever to hit the 80's! This TV show is basically about solving crimes and putting criminals behind bars. David Hasselhoff (Michael Knight) has the main role in this TV show and together with his partner K.I.T.T., they make a perfect match for solving crimes together...
Actually, there was no Michael Knight in the beginning of the show, but another guy called Michael Long. Mr. Long was unfortunately shot in the face by a woman called Tanya during a mission. Luckily, two members of the Knight Foundation, Devon and Wilton Knight, finds his body in the desert and recovers it to give him a new face. He becomes Michael Knight...
But who or what is K.I.T.T.? K.I.T.T. or the Knight Industries Two Thousand is a car that can do almost everything! It can talk, jump over great distances, scan for different objects or living creatures (meaning humans or whatever living organism), drive itself, drive on two wheels and much more. This car was created to help Michael fight crimes and stay successful. It's programmed to obey Michael and protect human life unlike his evil twin that you will come across later on the first season, called K.A.R.R., in which has a different programming, self serving. Meaning that he can do whatever he wants, regardless of any order.
Overall, there are four seasons of Knight Rider, whereas each season contains approximately 21 episodes of exciting action! This DVD contains the first season + bonus materials and Knight Rider 2000 (movie).
Knight Rider was first aired in 1982 and stopped airing around 1986. 5 years after that (1991) they aired a movie called Knight Rider 2000. This movie was supposed to become a television show as well, however after noticing the low rates, they decided not to do any followups.
Anyways, I highly recommend this TV show for those that enjoys watching crime investigations and fantastic action! If you have any further questions, you are more than welcome to e-mail me on: fatollahzadeh_armen550@hotmail.com
