I was impressed with the movie. A good balance of emotions between the husband and pregnant wife. It's a tense survival drama in the wilderness and such survival movies tend to grab my full attention. Being in a confined space added to the tension. I wondered how it would end.

This movie does not deserve the very bad reviews here. It was a gripping story of survival. People not used to wild vast wilderness can make silly mistakes. It needed to be slow to build up the growing dangers they faced. Well filmed.

Beautifully filmed. A wonderful adaptation of the novel for a modern audience. The pace of the movie was just right and it was very easy viewing. Cinematography and music were excellent. Acting was at least average and Kristen Scott Thomas was exceptionally good. I would gladly watch the movie again.

This was so witty...almost like an Irish Wayne's World in its style. I loved the clever humour. It seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth, I'd really like to watch it again. "I need soup, urgently!"
