Futurama: The Prince and the Product (2023)
Season 11, Episode 9
2/10
Awful!
24 September 2023
Wow, where do I start? I think this might be the worst Futurama episode in its history. It is shockingly bad and unfunny. Didn't laugh once in this episode.

If this is all they can come up with, why did they bring this show back? The writing is awful, even chat GPT would have written a better episode.

The advert stories were terrible, trying to be edgy? Because it clearly isn't. If the writers of this episode are on the strike, please don't come back, no one wants this junk. Even the main story in this was stupid and made no sense.

Please could I get 20 minutes back of my life, would have preferred watching paint dry.

Yawn - BOOORING
25 July 2022
Another super boring episode. Dull and inspiring and pulling on previous storylines that are already poor and lifeless. People giving this 9 and 10/10 are way to easily pleased. This whole season par a couple of episodes have been super poor and can't believe the long wait for this season has resulted in such a poor season!

Sort it out!

Booooooring
16 July 2022
This was so boring! This isn't the great Orville show that it used to be, no idea on clowns that are voting such high reviews. All it does is encourage more lacklustre, non episode stories that would struggle to be a filler episode in old school classic sci fi shows that had 22 episodes a season.

We watch the Orville for exciting adventures, not lame (insert political ideologies here) that have been so common this season. They have had a long time to work on this season and it has been a huge let down.

Sick of lectures from all these movie actors and now inserting into their shows. I couldn't care less of your opinions on whatever social or political topic, just don't insert it into a show where you are meant to appeal to as many people as possible.

Quoting Gervais at The Golden Globes which I think is very relevant for this virtual signalling writers: "You're in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world." Relevant at awards and relevant with people like MacFarlane.

Weak episode, poorly written
20 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
So far the season has been pretty good but this episode seemed weak. Pace was off, the heir to the money seem unnecessarily abrasive.

Maddie sleeping with her coworker seemed forced, a major lack of sexual tension, not a kiss at all but then they go back to her place. Then she discusses it with her fellow officer about how she made him go home so she could sleep was odd too.

The clear unrealistic and unnecessary shooting of a black criminal and unarmed passenger felt pretty caked on thick with all the BLM protesters and flags everywhere. This whole section of the episode was very unrealistic, when people use weapons in cars can't get a good angle to shoot behind them either.

Then adding the lawsuit for the unrealistic and unnecessary killing of the unarmed black female felt very forced with her sister working at a black owned shop with BLM flags and Oat Milk center screen (I'm vegan BTW, but this just seemed weird).

Poor virtue signalling episode from a show that has showed how important police are but also highlighted corruption and poor policing previously, but it was done well. This felt lazy and sloppy which is a shame as the rest of the season has been pretty good!

Utter SJW trash
5 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Complete utter rubbish. This show was great in season 1. They have clearly cut budgets and brought in some complete amateur SJWs to write and direct this episode and some of the others.

No one wants to watch this in a fun TV show. The main character is barely in this episode. While they seem to think the deputy sheriff deserves the same salary as the sheriff?

Completely disillusioned director who doesn't care about the show as long as she gets to push her agenda. All the episodes she has directed have been the worst episodes and rated that way for a reason. You probably don't get equal pay because episodes you direct are utter crap.

There is also way too much of the kids in the episodes now.

Trust me and don't watch this episode. There's almost no story development anyway. I long for the days of S1.

Good episode, not sure why the alien seemed to be talking about race
29 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Good episode, except for the weird addition when the alien is a racist and that skin colour has anything to do with it. Really random. But other than that, interesting episode.

What an awful cringe episode
22 September 2021
This show has really gone to hell, somehow it gets worse and worse. Ultimate wokeness, with so much cringe with this atrocious writing. Supergirl seems to be a side character in this last season. Why was Arrow and Flash so good in early seasons? Because none of this BS existed.

This is exactly what is wrong with some of these modern TV shows and the real lack of good writing that makes no sense.

Started great, but ended poorly with season 6
13 September 2021
The show was fantastic, but Netflix somehow finally got their way to ruin the show with Season 6 with plenty of woke, boring narratives.

Season 6 felt rushed and poorly created including terrible SJW writing. The show should have ended at Season 5.

This season was atrocious
13 September 2021
Such a poor season. Terrible writing, lots of inconsistencies, poor logic. The last episode was abysmal. They should have ended last season.

Shame that such as great show ended on such a poor season. Thankfully the show is ended so they can't ruin my memories of this show anymore.

So woke, so brave
29 April 2021
I was waiting for the episode where it got so political and began pushing politics. Surprisingly it had been very tame so far, until this episode.

Absolute garbage episode, forgetting they're a sitcom! Hopefully we don't see another super woke episode.

My support for all serving police officers in such a difficult time. Most of you do a fantastic job!

LMS gone woke?
1 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Some of these race story lines are ridiculous, the writers are trying to be super woke and left. The writing has always been quite politically balanced previously. But it's starting to ruin a fantastic show.

Surprised Tim Allen is happy to be in some of these episodes as they are completely ridiculous.

Wow, the writing in this episode was abysmal
17 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This show has always been one of my favourite superhero shows and avoided as much wokeness that Supergirl and Batwoman had.

However, this last episode was absolutely atrocious in this episode, ignored the science and went with love which was super lame and terribly written. The episode was really cringe too. They had all that extra time to write the episode with coronavirus and they came up with this?

Superman & Lois: Heritage (2021)

Decent episode, few annoyances though
3 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Solid follow up to the first episode. Much better show than Supergirl and significantly better than Batwoman. Less wokeness, great acting and much better writing.

Lois is well acted by Bitsie but some of her scripting, other than being so over the top about a "living wage" as if it is evil paying the minimum wage upwards, the fact she wants to publish a scathing article about Morgan Edge without barely knowing nothing about him calling him a "vampire" is insane journalism. Quite clearly represents current news channels like CNN who publish articles without any clear evidence. No editor, even if they are not owned by Edge would not publish libel.

Not really sure why everyone blames Jordan for kissing Sarah either, especially as she didn't give signals and not pull away and he didn't know she had a boyfriend. This was weirdly scripted making him the villain.

Great show so far, keep it up!

Feels like a typical cliche episode idea which got super "woke"
10 January 2021
This show has been okay but has been really sloppy at times. This episode has a typical cliche idea that has been done an endless amount of times. The show started to get super "woke", overly feminist and cringey towards the end of the episode.

Ted Danson is fantastic, some poor writing though
9 January 2021
UPDATE

Despite the pilot being awful, I decided to watch the next two episodes. These were much better and makes me think they got in some new writers after the show was approved.

It's not amazing but is much better and hopefully they continue to improve it.

---

I saw this and thought this looks like a great show, Ted Danson is a fantastic actor, while despite trying to carry the show, the writing is awful, trying to be overly woke while failing at almost anything comedic. I laughed in the pilot a couple times and they were light chuckles. Hardly a comedy. I also noticed some really poor video editing in scenes showing it was quite rushed. Not sure why there are some 9/10 reviews on here, are they the writers?

This will be cancelled in no time unless they sack the writers and get this show fixed. It's a great concept, just let down by the awful writing.

Most things about the episode was ok par the push.
2 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Okay episode but there was a bit too much focus on the typical content. It felt so forced and completely unnecessary.

Also making her sister the bad guy which despite saying it rudely, was just pointing out that she was genetically not born a female therefore she shouldn't get the powers as it genetically goes to female daughters.

Cringe
22 May 2019
This last episode was total cringe. The show has really taken a turn for the worst along with most of the CW's shows this season including Arrow and Supergirl.

The last series has been atrociously written and has become a show pandering to the SJWs. There also seems to be a lot of fake ratings on CW shows that are oddly suspect.

The Family (I) (2013)
2/10
Poor, terrible storyline, very rare comedic scenes.
2 October 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This film is atrocious, I mean dreadful. I honestly don't know where to start... A random love story between the daughter and a tutor in that she is in love with him upon like 1 maths tutorial, like obsessively so. She's also meant to be 17 but looks 23 at the youngest, the actor is 28 for Christ sake. She even contemplates suicide "to be with him". Trust me her storyline is barbaric "confused.com".

The brother's is slightly more normal although plans to run off to Paris (to become a gangster?) because he gets expelled. What???...

The storyline to how his old Italian friends finds out where they are based on a poem in an article of a newspaper that somehow makes it way to the US from France...

The kids act like MI5 or CIA when being introduced to the school and understanding the pupils, they are children of a gangster not James Bond...

The wife (Michelle Pfeiffer) decides to blow up a supermarket leaving obvious evidence that she was the one who did it. This is Normandy, not the middle ages.

Robert De Nero and Tommy Lee Jones both act well in the film, however, their pay packet and respect must have been costly to get them in this film.

They decided to play a cameo film of Goodfellas in the cinema scene, like this film has just become ridiculous.

Do not believe any of the critics, this film is appalling and I only watched it as it came up on Netflix. Avoid at all costs, the stupidity and just disillusion of this film and the family is just next level sh*t, literally!
