The War Room (1993)
7/10
This is a 6, The Bunker a 10
6 March 2023
Like I said in my title, War Room is a 7 and was definitely ground breaking when it was made. No doubt a must see. It's amazing to watch what goes on behind the scenes of election campaigns and is terrifying to think about what we're not allowed to see. Especially in this day and age. On both sides. But if you really want to see a fun version of it (it's definitely truth telling with a sly smile and exclamation point) just watch the Netflix original series "Documentary Now" season 2, titled "The Bunker" Omg, hilarious 😂 It's got Fred Armensen and Bill Hader so you can't go wrong. It's poignant, unapologetic and downright hilarious. You can thank me later. Lol.

Family Guy (1999– )
1/10
Every Effing Episode
25 December 2022
It used to be the funniest thing on TV. They didn't care who they picked on or made fun of. No one was safe. It was slowly becoming more "safe" and PC but not as much as the rest of television and it was still hilarious. It was, at least, until the past 6 yrs. Now they can't go a single d@mn episode without sticking their hands in the political pile of trash talking that Hollywood uses to virtue signal these days. If it was on both sides that would at least be a bit funnier. But they are going the way of SNL, in the toilet headfirst. I've officially gone from hoping Family Guy never ended to looking forward to the day the only episodes available are reruns.

Warning: Spoilers
SPOILER ALERT... We could've gotten past the part of the movie that he "had" to go back for the d*mn kids insulin. As if the military convoy heading to a doomsday bunker had no chance of having any on hand?!? They could've at least had GB ask one of the soldiers, before running off to the car to retrieve the bag that his doof kid tossed out while grabbing his blankie 🙄, then they could given an excuse like the medic van was stuck in the traffic jam. That would at least be more plausible than an engineer not being smart enough to figure that the military would have insulin on hand. Yeah, we turned it off at that point.

I'm sure I'll try again after getting over this annoyance, but only bc I enjoy Gerard Butler.
