Seeing this really opened my eyes.This animated movie touches so many things of other movies and society and makes you laugh at the same time , being "funny cuz' it's true".The drawing style is nothing short of amazing.It's really a shame this feature is rather short because it's in one word : Magnificent.

This is clearly a Belgium movie with some Hollywood influences .. but nevertheless it still has the typical belgian touch.The movie quite suprised me , in a very good way.. It was full of suspense , plot twists , clever and good acting and great camera shots... Also the music/sound was a-ok ! The story is actually quite simplistic , yet they manage to play it in a very good yet difficult way. I'm going to want this one on DVD... definatly.

This eerie tale of young Vincent takes the viewer to deep and dark mind-confusing melancholic tales from where you'll never return the same .. Tim Burton has made some great movies , but what we see here is just the pure brilliance of what he stands for ... See it .. or else!

This is a movie that has everything. From incredible casting ( Johnny Depp is hilarious, witty and pure brilliant - Keira Knightly is stunningly beautiful and bright - Orlando Bloom plays a magnificent Will Turner and Geoffrey Rush is perfect for the "not-so-nice-guy" ) to an immense action/adventure mood that crawls about in the movie.This is without doubt one of the best movies to come out since .. well , since ever I suppose...This movie deserves without a doubt a shiny place in my treasure ye calleth the "Top 10".

Making a movie about a Comic is hard to do. Making a good movie about a Comic is extremely hard to do. Making a good movie about Asterix & Obelix has been done.

This movie shows that the french do know how to make an : a) funny , b) hilarious , c) beautiful , d) superb movie. The acting is no less than superb , the sunny feel to the whole movie is perfect .. A MUST see ! This just has to be the funniest thing to come out since we started the new millenium.. 10/10

The movie , based on comic , starts a little dark and moody and directly brings up the huge "vibe" around this movie.Everything is just perfect! The animation is superb , the voice-acting is one of the best I've ever heard , when you hear Bommel say "Als je begrijpt wat ik bedoel" for only one time , you'll never forget his voice.It's a very touching story with tears but also laughter , and lot's of it. Definatly my top movie from my childhood years ( Hey , I still watch it , sue me !).

If you could only pick one animated feature to be in your childhood memory.. pick this one.
