Uncut Gems (2019)
Great movie, shocking ending!
I loved this movie! The sound and visual effect carry you to the end in a crescendo effect that breaks the glass at the end. The audience is left in suspense to imagine the fate of the main characters. The movie takes you back to the 80's using electronic audio and an original plot that make you feeling like you were in 1985 watching the Twin Towers in Central Park. The layers in this movie develop the characters in a way that in the end reveal their true nature.

Keeps you interested
This movie paints a picture of necessity. One family needs to survive, another to to thrive, and when the tempo clash, there will be casualties on both sides. Life goes on for both families, but it shows that the less fortunate are more prone to violence.

Impactful!
Good stuff! This is a great production. I can't wait to see the rest of the episodes.
Rim of the World (2019)
Negative associations exaggerated
In a wide range of ways, the overall presentation of black males in the media is distorted, exaggerating some dimensions while omitting others. It's clear Hollywood can't move past stereotypes and this is the case with this movie.
Analysts have gone into great detail about the way in which negative images of black males continue to be used for entertainment purposes, whether through traditional imagery of black inferiority, or by using black male characters disproportionately to represent both the victims and perpetrators of violence.
