Iron Fist (2017–2018)
5/10
Misses the mark.
8 September 2018
The casting of Iron Fist , feels off, the actor is not right for the role. Plus , character wise, he is supposed to be the greatest fighter of his city , but everyone can out fight him. They have missed tue entire feel for the comic book all together.

Good Times
22 January 2004
I had enjoyed this movie as a very young child and still enjoy this movie to this day. Bottom line this movie was made in the early 60's so considering this, they did the best they could with the budget and the resources they had in special effects. Perhaps, this may have looked better in stop animation, but that was not Japan's way of making monster movies. This movie marked the return of both King Kong and Godzilla. A movie of this type should be viewed for the sole purpose of enjoyment, granted a lot of elements may have not made a lot of sense [e.g. mammal and Lizards are natural enemies, King Kong and the electricity] but it's all in fun. Enjoy the concept of the two famous monsters battling it out; it's a B movie that is made for fun.

Daredevil (2003)
Not bad, close to the comic
31 August 2003
Daredevil the movie did a pretty good job of sticking close to Frank Miller's comic book. However, I would have rather seen a couple things different, 1st the Daredevil costume was horrible, 2nd bulls eyed should have been in some type of costume, and finally Ben was a poor fit on this one. Ben does not have the athletic build for this character; they should have gone for this buddy, Matt Damon. The casting for Jennifer Garner was great and although the kingpin was an unexpected casting of Michael Clarke Duncan I think he did a great job with it. Overall, this was a fine movie and a must see!!!!!!!!!!

Sub-par at best
31 August 2003
I saw these last installments of the Robocop movies, 1st off it was poor casting, that they heck where they thinking casting a guy was 5'7, Peter Weller was 6'0 and the next actor in Robo 3 was 6'2. The best past of this line was the character of cable; he made a far better Robocop than the actor they cast. Plus the upgrade they gave Robocable was sweet, two gun shooter and shiny new armor. The story was better than Robocop 3 and the TV series. But there is definite room for improvement and they need to go back and re watch the 1st movie.

What dreams are made of
25 August 2003
This is truly a fan boy's dream, fans have been waiting for this movie for 9 years and now that it is finally on the big screen, it was masterfully done. When you consider 3 things, 1st there have been 10 Jason Movies and 7 Freddy movies, the well is run pretty dry on these ideas. 2nd most of these movies have been bombs and 3rd is it very hard to write a script where the two main characters are serial killers. When you factor all this in, it really is a good script, of course it would have been better with Kane Hodder in it. The story did a good job of creating conflict between Freddy & Jason. The ideas are believable for this character's past history. Granted this movie will not win best picture, but it you are looking for an entertaining movie this is the picture for you.

Marital art/Hip-hop like oil and water.
25 August 2003
This movie has some great ideas for a story line; Jet Li's character was the best part of the movie. One of the main problems in this movie is the director jumping between Jet Li's fights scenes with other action in the movie. The scene with DMX holding his own with Jet Li was a joke, DMX is not believable as a martial arts and should stick to making music, and he really brought down the movie. The fight scene with Mark Dacascos was ruin by switching to different action scenes in the movie and by having the water; it really took away from the fight scene. Furthermore, the idea of a black stone being a great power source really made this movie non believable. There are certainly allot of great ideas in this movie, but it's not enough to save this picture. The whole idea of mixing a martial arts movie with hip-hop is a terrible idea, and makes for poor movies.

Should have went for a Terminator VS Robocop concept.
25 August 2003
T3 reminded plot wise of T2, Arnold is the good Terminator protecting a male and female from a liquid mental Terminator, you just tact on a not so a happy ending and you have T3. I was disappointed in the lack of effort put into the story line of this movie, they could have done so much with the whole Terminator concept, but yet they reached for so little. If they could not come up with a creative idea for this movie they should have went with something else. The writers should have jumped on the Freddy vs Jason, Alien vs. Predator bandwagon and did Terminator vs. Robocop.

The story basically states that the T2 just pushed back the Human/machine war and it was no way of avoiding this outcome. Well, this pretty much gave away the ending at the beginning of the movie, the CG was pretty good as usual, but that's not enough to make a good picture.
