Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror: The Good War (2021)
Extreme Collateral damage.
What this series exposes is the sheer impunity and carelessness with which innocent children are killed in Afghanistan. What really sbocked me is that kids and youth that were not even alive at 9/11 and who were born years later and often the next decade had to be drone bombed into a million pieces for a war they were not part of. Bear in mind that the Afghan people had nothing to do with 9/11. Bin Laden used Afghan soil for his training camps..this Without the knowledge of the Afghan populace. What this series shows is how wrong the war was and why the USA 🇺🇸 could not win. They were an occupation force that brutalized and terrorised much of the innocent Afghan population who were merely trying to go about their lives in the mud huts. I doing so, the occupation forces merely created more and more people who hated them..people who lost loved ones...some estimates put the number of innocent Afghan lives lost at 150000...each and every one a tragedy.
No Time to Die (2021)
As good as it gets
Flawless James Bond action all the way with a fitting end to Daniel Craig. Ive watched all the Bond movies from Connery, Roger Moore, Brosnan, Craig.. And for me, this was the best.
Die Prince van Pretoria (1992)
Prince of Lichtenburg.. Lol
So bad.. It's entertaining. I watched this so that I could see how cringy it was... It didn't disappoint.
Breaking Bad: Ozymandias (2013)
On another level
This series took me by surprise. Started watching Season 1 while living in the UK.
Then gave it another try in 2017. I had a few days at the seaside in South Africa and all I done for a week was watch the show.. Addictive.
Berlin, I Love You (2019)
When the panoramic image does not work
You know when you take pictures with your mobile camera and try to stitch them together, sometimes it works beautifully and other times, the cracks in the image appear, so this is what this movie feels like. The individual short segments are fine but as the movie draws to a close, there is an attempt to stitch it together... Which it should because this is what the movie is about... But it doesn't...
I don't approve of the casual sex, nudity... Doesn't work.
Blinded by the Light (2019)
Blooper
About 70 minutes into this movie set in the 80's, there is a scene where the lovers run across the M1 motorway bridge North of London near the junction with Luton. The traffic under the bridge are all cars easily recognisable as cars from 2018. Clever
Bad Boys for Life (2020)
Low expectations, the best Bad boys by far
I don't know how they managed it but they pulled off a sequel that to me was the best of all the Bad boys so far.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Utter bull
From the moment I saw the idiotic quantum tbeory scene, I realized that there the movie depended on a lot of bull sh to weave a crazy plot over different time zones and eras and different planets.
Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018)
Near Perfect
Ok, so I opened an IMDb account just to rate and review Mission Impossible. From the beginning , just incredible action...amazing story lines ... possibly my best action movie ever
