From Dusk Till Dawn (2001)
I enjoyed this game and beat it. This was hard?!
OK, so the controls were a bit crappy which made it kinda hard but there were many funny one liners from Seth and some of the other people you met. The head vampires voice was a bit annoying but why should evil sound normal.
Would love to see Clooney come back as Seth and finish that group of vampires once and for all and totally raid the temple at the end of the movie but oh well.
If you were to continue with another game what kind of story lines do you think you could come up with that might make the next game better? I have some ideas but please feel free to share yours.
Dawn of the Dead (2004)
I had high hopes.....Spoilers
well, where to start. went to see this film last night. All I have to say is some parts were funny and some were scary. I would not recommend George Romeo EVER seeing this though. There was NO character development except for Ving Rhames. the zombies were fast and scary but this really reminded me of 28 days.....just with actually dead people coming back to life.
Oh and the start, some cheesy screensaver I can recreate on my computer with the word, "Strike". Come on, is this referring to the zombies or to maybe a terrorist "strike" that caused this. the more I write the more I am thinking about this movie.
Best part was celebrity target practice. Burt Reynolds, Jay Leno. bwahahaha. funny stuff. That part was classic I must admit.
Oh, and then the part where the girl goes to get the dog. Why didnt she just whistle to get the dog back? I MEAN COME ON PEOPLE?! Then poor Andy never gets to eat his sandwich. Him and Kenneth are the only people I was really rooting for in the movie. We need George Romero to the rescue QUICK?!
Well, that is all I have to say about the movie, oh, and one last note. If you see a zombie in a fishing boat when you are going to an island I would've stay cleared of the island. No questions asked. and then we get the ending. not a happy one but could've showed it without all the camera jumping like Blair Witch and stuff and especially not cutting in and out of the credits. Very annoying. Very unoriginal.
Please email me back if you'd like to discuss the movie. At least I have Hellboy to look forward to April 2nd. Goes to show anyone can make a movie these days. I am quite saddened.
Incubo sulla città contaminata (1980)
Interesting good and bad
Well, zombies that run, jump, use guns. I was expecting to start hearing them sing next?! Sure are the most active bunch I've seen.
Anyway, love the way one of the army people say helicoptor as "heeelocopter"
The acting was mediocore, the effects (I wont even go there due to respect of filmmakers who try to bring us "unique" bunch of people a decent zombie flick.)
Beginning was extremely creepy when they introduce the zombies on the runway. At first they look like terrorists but this isn't the case at all. Very scary to think about especially living in these dangerous times with threats of nuclear weapons and terrorists.
Ending sure matches the title of nightmare city. Now, when I have a nightmare and see the same events even begin to unfold after I wake up I run. No instead we have mr tv reporter standing there at the end of the movie instead of running like I wouldve as soon as I saw that plane land.
Gore scnes were great. Zombies makeup not so great. Very intrigued on the way the zombies worked together though. Id make it against Romero Zombies but these zombies were different and definetely gave me the chills.
I will give this movie a respective 8 out of 10.
