Grease (1978)

Love this movie and especially the music!

This was seriously my life as a child growing up! I first saw this movie with my parents when I was 5 and clearly didn't understand really anything, but I loved the music! I'm now 15 and have owned the CD since I was probably 5-6 years old and asked for the DVD for my 7th birthday! I still love listening to the music and know every word to every song because I've listened to this music for about 10 years now, and I still do all of the time.

It's such a good movie, but I literally saw it 100 times as a child, so now I'm kind of sick of watching it, but I will never be sick of the music! What makes Grease is the music! I love musicals and yes I like the actual storyline and all but the best part is the music! A must see! You will love it!

High School Musical (2006 TV Movie)

My childhood

Honestly, I just randomly gave it a vote. You really can't vote on how good this movie is. Yes I mean it was a very typical Disney channel movie, but I was in elementary school when this movie came out, and everybody my age including myself was obsessed with it; I couldn't even count the amount of times that I watched this movie.

If you've never seen this movie and you're over the age of lets say 12, you're probably not going to like it. This was my childhood though and everybody loved the music and I owned the movie and CD and would always listen to the music. Everyone would watch it and would watch the sing alongs on Disney channel, because I was probably 8 when this movie came out and I am now 15 and Disney channel was everyones life and childhood, so I could never give this movie a bad review, but I really don't know what to give it out of 10 so I just gave it a 7.

High school musical is a Disney movie where you can really only like it if you were young like me when it came out. I haven't seen this movie in forever, and I watched it the other day and still pretty much remember all of the words to every song!

Saved by the Bell (1989–1992)

I love this show!!

Event though I did not grow up with this show, even in 2013 it is still airs every morning on TV on some channel. I love this show and have been watching it since I was in elementary school, and I still watch the re runs even though I have already seen all of the episodes before. If you're into shows like the Cosby show, full house, the nanny, boy meets world, etc., this is such a good show to watch! I did not grow up with any of the shows that I listed but I love and watch them all! I would definitely recommend this show, it is and I think always will be one of my favorite TV shows. I would truly disregard any comments about the bad acting and poorly written scripts because it's a show about teenagers in high school, and in my opinion, the script matched it perfectly (I am currently a sophomore in high school)! A must watch!

Footloose (1984)

This was a very good movie!

I really enjoyed watching this movie, but the one thing that irritated me was Ariel, I just DID NOT like her character, and have no idea why Ren would take an interest in her. I know that she was very pretty, but she was annoying and thought that she was the best thing in the world and she was a slut. I know that that's not even what the movie was about, it just really bothered me.

I would recommend watching this movie because it is something different, but in a good way. This small town in Georgia has made dancing illegal, which we all know would probably NEVER happen. It's about this one guy who moves from a big city to this small town and fights against the court trying to make it legal again.

I do live in Atlanta, Georgia, and I do know that people here don't have a strong southern accent because we live in such a big city with many different people from around the world. I do know what people sound like outside of Atlanta, and the way they sounded in the movie was not it, but it didn't bother me that much. Willard was probably the only person who sounded like a true Georgia southerner. I would definitely watch this movie!!

Snow White and the Huntsman (2012)

I was planning on not watching this movie, but I am happy I did watch it!

Would I have liked another actress to play Snow White instead of Kristen Stewart? Yes, she had no emotion and her accent was not very good, but honestly, she wasn't as bad of an actor as she was in Twilight. In this movie she smiled I think twice, and was depressed and emotionless the rest of the movie. She wasn't as bad of an actor because the queen was trying to rip Snow White's heart out, so of course Snow White is supposed to be depressed 90% of the movie, but in Twilight she is supposed to show way more emotion than she does. So honestly she was a better actor in this movie than I thought she would be because she was supposed to be depressed most of the movie. I LOVED the story line, it was supposed to be a new Snow White for young adults to enjoy, where they could show all of the violence and make it more interesting for young adults. The original Snow White and Mirror Mirror both are more for children because they didn't have all of the violence that young adults would like to see. I do think they could have cut out 10-20 minutes of the violence (and I love action movies). Overall you should definitely see it if you haven't! If your not a big fan of action movies, then I probably wouldn't watch it, unless you can handle it if you like the story line. There is a twist to the story we all know and love, but it is a good kind of twist, and you will be very surprised!

The Phantom of the Opera (2004)

I Love This Movie!!!!

When I was around 7 years old my cousin showed me this movie and I was obsessed with the movie and the songs! The whole thing with the Phantom choking people did freak me out, but the movie was so good and I would definitely watch it again!!

This movie was getting hit really hard by critics about the music, like why? The Broadway musical has the original songs, this movie has basically the same exact songs, just with a little twist (they added a little bit of rock to it)! That to me is what made it even better because it was it's "own" original soundtrack but with the same lyrics.

I would definitely recommend watching this movie, you will love the music and the story its self!

Titanic (1997)

This movie is the best movie of all time!

This movie in my opinion deserves nothing less than 8 stars because it is such a masterpiece. It definitely showed the tragedy of the Titanic because the whole sinking of the Titanic in the movie was done in such detail that you really learned and could feel how tragic it was! For most men to come on here and write bad reviews about this movie, just don't, because the romance between Jack and Rose was for girls and to make the movie a romantic tragedy. Making it a romantic tragedy made the movie more sad so we could feel even more how much of a tragedy it was! Men obviously don't like romance like that, but the way the did the sinking scene was fabulous! I am a girl so I loved the romance between Jack and Rose, and I think that it truly added more to the movie, because you have to have a story line for a movie that you don't want to make a documentary. The story line was amazing because back then everything was about if you are 1st class, 2nd class, or 3rd class, and you could really see how the 3rd class people were treated compared to the 1st class people because Jack was a very, very poor 3rd class man, and Rose was a 1st class woman engaged to such a wealthy man. If you are a guy you won't really like the romance story line, but that doesn't make it a bad movie. If you are a girl I would definitely recommend watching this movie! I did cry, A LOT! So be prepared if you are someone who does cry during movies!

Top Gun (1986)

This movie was really good!! And Tom Cruise was so HOT!!

This movie was surprisingly good, and I thought that it was a really good movie about Top Gun. There really is a Top Gun, and it is the best of the best, and this movie really showed the viewers that it was! I liked how there was a little bit of romance included in the movie because it made it a little bit better. Tom Cruise was the HOTTEST in this movie!!! Today he is still good looking for his age, but in this movie, there are no words to describe him!! The movie was really good, but the one thing that made it amazing was him in it!! In this movie, to me, he is hotter than Shia LaBoeuf and Alex Pettyfer (they are still really hot)! Even though he made the movie even better, overall the movie its self I would give and 8 out of 10 with or without him in it. I would definitely recommend watching this, especially if you're a girl because you will not be able to keep your eyes off of Tom Cruise!

Full House (1987–1995)

This show is amazing!!!! This show was made in the 90's and is still being played on TV today in 2012 (which shows how god it is)!!!! It is super family and kid friendly, and if you've never watched this show before, I definitely would because you won't regret it!! It is sooo cute and is pretty realistic on showing the life of a big family and them growing up together over the years. Showing how the oldest daughter's (DJ) life was growing up with her family from elementary school all the way to the end of high school. It also showed how her two sisters, Stephanie and Michelle grew up over the years and how all of them got along together. It was very realistic and really set a true example of sisters and family!! I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!

Tangled (2010)

Disney's princess movies are back!!

I absolutely loved this movie!! Disney originally tried making another princess movie a few years ago, Princess and the Frog. That movie was not good at all!! Disney is known for their amazing princess movies, and that was not one of them, and I have know idea what happened with that movie! Now that Disney has made this movie, they are back on top with their incredible princess movies!! The music was wonderful, and the movie was a little different from their usual princess movies. This one was funner and more modern, but they still had the whole princess feel to it, which is what Disney is known for! Disney's other movies, that don't have music, and aren't a princess movie that have been coming out over the years are good too. They just haven't made a princess movie like this one since The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, etc. I would definitely watching this movie, no matter what age! Especially if you grew up watching their princess movie, I absolutely know that you will love this movie!

The Lying Game (2011–2013)

This show is amazing!!

If you like Pretty Little Iars then you'll love this, because it's another teen drama. I started watching this show because I was bored one night, and just wanted to try it out, but now I'm hooked!! The only problem I do have with this show is that the whole concept of this daughter that you have raised for around 18 years vanishes, and her twin takes her place, while she goes and looks for their mother. Now, you would think that the parents would recognize that that is not their daughter, because twins might look a lot a like, but if you know them well enough, then you can always tell the difference between the two. Well, the parents don't and it's season 2 now, and they still don't!! I'm still giving this show 10 stars because it is fictional, and is real, but still, sometimes I think to myself, what if my parents didn't recognize me after raising me for almost 18 years???? I would still recommend watching it because it's really good, and it is fictional, so they can make it however they want!

Persuasion (2007 TV Movie)

I ended up watching this version before I watched the 1995 BBC version, and I loved it! I enjoyed it so much that later I decided to finally watch the BBC version. I did enjoy it, and they were both very similar, it's just that the actors for this version were much, much more attractive than those on the 1995 version. I actually thought that the acting was better in this version, and I enjoyed it much more! I love what the movie is about, and how after they finally see each other 8 or 9 years later, you can still tell that they are head over heels for each other! You could tell that Captain Wentworth was still very hurt by Anne, but that he still loved her so much, and just didn't want to show that he did because he was so hurt by her. Captain Wentworth's plan did work, because Anne was very jealous and sad whenever he was around Henrietta or Louisa, and acted like he really liked them. It looked to me like she tried to make it seem as if she didn't really care at times, but you know that she really does. I would highly recommend watching this movie because I know that you would enjoy it if you like these kind of movies!

I actually really enjoyed this movie! I'm not the biggest fan of extremely scary movies, so it was good enough for me. Now, if you want to watch a really scary horror movie, this is not it, but it is still a good movie, and I would recommend watching it. I really liked how I felt like a detective trying to figure out who the werewolf was, since I did have many suspects. You'll always think it's one person, then you'll say oh no, it's this person, and so on, and I really liked that about the movie. The ending was never who I expected it would be, but it was still a really good ending to the movie. So I would recommend watching this movie, no matter what any of the other reviews say, especially if you like a movie that is kind of scary and with suspense.

This was a disappointment!

This movie was truly a disappointment. I absolutely loved the first one, and would definitely give it 10 stars! When I heard that there was a second one, I was really happy, and thought that I might enjoy it just as much as I enjoyed the first one. Well, I definitely did not!! Maybe if you just decided to watch this one and not the first one, you might like it, but to have watched the first one, and then this one, this should be a disappointment! First off they basically just copy lines and scenes from the first one, which makes it even worse, because the scenes aren't good in this movie. I have many other reasons, but to make it easier, it just wasn't good!! I mean I'm a girl who watches a lot of chick flicks, even bad ones and actually enjoy some of them! This one was horrible; so please, if your interested in this type of movie watch the first one, it is way better, funnier, and I promise you that you will enjoy it a lot more than you would enjoy this one!

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011)

I loved the first Twilight movie and then New Moon was OK, and I actually really enjoyed Eclipse!! This movie was really good, and a lot of people are saying that they added to much stuff to the movie and could have made it shorter, you guys have no idea what you are talking about; this shows that most of you people have obviously not read the books! I absolutely loved the book, and was kinda of disappointed with the amount of scenes that they CUT OUT and/ or SHORTENED!!! There were scenes that I was actually looking forward to watching. I understand that this movie can't be extremely long, but some of the other movies were like 2 and a half hours, and this movie wasn't even 2 hours. I really did enjoy this film, but I really wish that they would have added some of those additional scenes. Also, most people, for some reason, just don't really want to read the books, (they are really good and you should read them) and if you haven't, then you probably didn't understand some of it because without those additional scenes or additional parts of scenes, they didn't really do a good job of explaining some stuff. Even though I am saying all of this, I still really did enjoy the movie, it's just that a lot of reviews are saying that they should have shortened it, which really makes me mad because they have no idea what they are talking about, and should really read the books! If you haven't seen it you totally should, and if you haven't read the books, please do!!! They are so good, and the movies can't tell someone that the books aren't amazing, because they are!! If you are a big Twilight fan, then you really need to read the books!! I hope this helps some people!!
