I Care a Lot (2020)
Unrealistic
So the movie and acting is good & sound. The story makes you think if this is plausible and sure it could be. Nursing homes and prisons are profitable venues the crooked.
As others commented this makes me sick to my stomach knowing this could happen to someone Our freedoms deteriorate as we age and you clearly see it happening on how our elders are treated.
Now tell me how can these main characters think they have so much power and can control all aspects of the court system, law enforcement investigations and nursing home protocols, makes no sense. Secondly a Guardian ad litem really thinks they can get over on mobsters. Yeah right.
For Life (2020)
Started off great, then....
First season was great, watching the hardships of what innocent prisoners experience while away from family. We can all agree that our judicial system is flawed and needs overall but season 2 going south. All police officers aren't there to arrest minorities, this is only flaming the racial divide today.
Inside Out (2015)
great movie with a powerful message regarding our children emotions..
Usually don't write movie reviews since everyone views things so much differently. But I felt compelled to do so, especially after watching this with my 2 daughters 12 & 8 yr old. Yes I understand we parents impact out children's lives and emotions, feelings, thoughts, perceptions and most importantly their lasting memories...which help defines their character & emotional state later in life. The parents are a reflection of their children and we must sacrifice ourselves at times so that our children feelings are taking into consideration. This movie really brings this to life and makes you (the parent) take in consideration of your children's emotional state.
The Fault in Our Stars (2014)
courageous and moving
I want to give my opinion of this movie and I usually don't write reviews but after seeing a lot of negative ratings/reviews I must. For all the people who gave this below 8 star rating I guess you don't see the complexity of this film. You only see the negativity around every corner and to be honest it doesn't take much...but if you look you will see the brightness, love and simplicity around you. It is there and once you grasp it...well it's painless.
I know this isn't a movie review...the movie itself speaks volumes..heart wrenching, powerful, courageous, selfless. Imagine if we all could set aside our problems and have concern for others without thought..? Imagine the compassion we could learn from others..if we allowed ourselves to feel...as a grown man watching this film I would be honored to have a son who portray this character and even more honored to have a man with so much selfless love and devotion in love with my daughter...WOW...some may say it's just a movie....well I say if it's plausible its possible.
This is a must see film so don't listen to those negative reviews...allow yourself to feel and be emotional...after all we are human...right..?
As Anne Frank said "think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy"
