Deadwater Fell (2020)
No real substance.
Watched all the series, episode one looked promising. Then it just slowed down to a snails pace. No real substance, despite a good cast.
Into the Ashes (2019)
Possibly the worse film I have ever seen.
A slow burner, that never seems to light. I can't say much more than that.
John Henry (2020)
Slow Slow Slow
I have no idea how this is in the top ten on Netflix. Possibly one of the slowest paced, most boring films I have ever seen. Terrible film.
The Mad Axeman (2019)
Don't bother.
Really is the most boring film I have ever seen. I really wouldn't bother. They could have done so much with this film, regrettably that didn't 🤷♂️🤔
The Reliant (2019)
Great cure for insomnia
Rare I write reviews, however felt on this occasion I would. This film had so much potential, as it is, it moves along at a snails pace.
Possibly one of the most boring films I have ever seen.
Stressed to Kill (2016)
Worst film I have ever seen!
Don't really know where to start with this. I wouldn't bother, poor acting, poor plot. Nothing redeemable with this film.
Capital Games (2013)
I really wouldn't bother
Poor quality film, implausible story, poor acting. Boring.
Struck (2019)
Don't really like giving bad reviews, however....
Starting with the positives. I liked the actors, thought the acting was really good. The setting was good. The story line had potential. That is unfortunately where the positives end. Quite a dull film, that never really got started. Very predictable at times, and you often found yourself knowing what was going to happen before it happened. I stuck with it until the end thinking I am sure it will get better, it didn't really.
The Children Act (2017)
Brilliant film!
What a brilliant film from start to finish. Shows the difficult decisions that the judiciary sometimes have to make, whilst also managing their own life. The human side to the judiciary, and the impact that some of these decisions must make on those making the decisions. Great film, well worth a watch.
Sulla mia pelle (2018)
RIP Stefano Cucchi
Absolutely superb film with great acting in the lead role from Alessandro Borghi. If I'm honest as it opened I was sure I was going to like it the dubbing was noticeable. But as the film continued it was an absolutely brilliant film, based on true events. Well worth a watch. RIP Stefano may your killers, and those who contributed be brought to justice.
