Yes, I agree, there are a few moments of which you could wonder about certain choices the main characters make.

But still, the movie is shot perfectly, really making you feel the height of where they are stuck. Liked the twist at the end too. Made it more real too. Although some moments might be too unbelievable. But it's fiction.

The acting is good enough. Making a movie without any A-list moviestars is always good. Expectations are lower, so movies are better.

The length of the movies is just about right. Any longer would be too long.

I would recommend this movie to anyone who is not afraid of heights.

Top 5 best movies
7 June 2005
Three words: Oh my God!!! I've never seen a movie like this.... The concept of shooting a black & white movie with some fades of color is brilliant. I cannot compare this movie to any other movie, but it is definitely in my movie top 5 which also holds Pulp Fiction. But I cannot say if its better, because it's a total different movie.

Bruce Willis finally plays a great role again and also Clive Owen has definitely made his breakthrough now. It's even cool to see 'hobbit' Elijah Wood as a stone cold killer and Benicio Del Toro in a very cool role. Also cool is Rutger Hauer in a major movie again.

But the star of the movie is of course Mickey Rourke. He has the coolest character with sharp one liners. Cool to see him back! The women all act very very good.. A break through for Jessica Alba.

It's almost impossible to think that the entire movie was shot on a green screen.

It is going to be a long time before I'm gonna see a movie as good as this one and it's also been a long time.

Night of Terror (1999 Video)

Excellent performance of actors

Warning: Spoilers
This has to be one of the best movies I've ever seen! I mean, Pulp Fiction ain't got sh*t on this movie.

The story is about 2 teenagers who get lost in LA and get beaten en abused by everybody they come across with. The story is great and shows how a director can pull you into a movie and gives you the feeling you're in the middle of the action. Especially when you find the Jamaican looking for the TAX!!

Hap gives an almost flawless performance of a student in trouble. It is probably a performance equally to Samuel L. Jackson's Jules Winfield, if not better.

So I'd really recommend this movie for everybody who wants to watch a movie that gets you on the edge of your seat. CLASSIC!!!

Great Movie

There are many war movies, but finally there is a decent one about the Vietnam war in stead of World War II.

We were soldiers is a movie about the first American attack on the Vietnamese. A col. rides into battle with his man and they have to encouter several attacks from the enemy. It also tells the story from the wife of the col., who receives the telegrams of the dead soldiers.

There are moments of action which are needed in a war movie. The action-moments are good and the special effects look real. There are also moments of drama, so the movie does not have full action only, which is good to stay concentrated. But the drama does not hurt the movie, because there's not to many of it.

Overall it's a movie which keeps your focus to the last minute. It's not the best war movie ever, but you should certainly see it. Not only because of the very good acting of Mel Gibson.
