American Horror Story: Multiply Thy Pain (2023)
Kim Kardashian drags a fairly boring episode down three notches.
Kardashian is a stale old hag and her acting is even worse. Who casts a wanna be poser as a serious actress. God awful scenes where I have to listen to that made up person talk.
Overall the casting wasn't to bad for the other actors but the addition of Kim Kardashian seems like an effort to appease the fragile Kardashian family for some weird reason.
I'm still contemplating not watching episode 2 of this season. They seem to be locked in of highlighting this sub standard acting just to stuff this Kardashian klan down our throats to make good with this weird family.
I may have more to say after episode 2 but unsure if I'm going to watch at this point.
A Waltons Thanksgiving (2022)
Absolute Travesty
Everything about this special wrong based on the original series. The period piece was all wrong for the children, the parents and the area were so far off from the original premise of the Earl Hamner's masterpiece.
I see that many people see this as a good old fashion wholesome television, but if you'd seen the original cast and understood the messages they were conveying, you'd understand that this version of the series is way off.
The real Walton's were dirt poor struggling with almost every aspect of life. This one shows a family with far more wealth than they really had and far more levity than shown.
The casting of the characters was poor and the acting portrayed a view of perfect people rather than country folk.
We watched the entire episode but wouldn't put this in any category with the original series and I'm shocked that Richard Thomas would associate the Waltons name with this rendition.
Manifest (2018)
Great story line, bad acting
So far I'm through about 14 episodes and I have found the story is very interesting but the majority of the actors are subpar. Dialogue and writing is unrealistic and static.
I like the premise of the show but it should have been shorter. They string your along with new wrinkles a d it takes forever to resolve anything.
I know this will sound weird but the acting seems like one of those Hallmark religious specials.
