Argylle (2024)
So much FUN!!!!!
This movie surprised me! The trailers don't do it justice. It's another slam dunk from Matthew Vaughn, who has developed his own incredible style during his Kingsman Movies.
While The actions sometimes can feel a bit cartoonish, that just means they are knowingly throwing physics and realism out the window to have a great time and show something really unique (very anime/Bollywood inspired).
All the performances were really great but Bryce Dallas Howard really was fantastic. And it was wonderful to see Sam Rockwell having so much fun with the character and the story.
100p would recommend checking out this movie. The uniqueness is something that should be rewarded on its own, but the fact that it pulls off 95% of what it's trying to do is just incredible!
The King's Man (2021)
Amazing! Surprised at how much fun I had!
I loved this movie, it makes a lot of bold choices and they all pay off. No spoilers but I haven't had a genuine OH WOW moment in a movie in a long time (most movies you can guess the plot a mile away) and this one delivered!!
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
I enjoyed it!!
I dug it, a few friends thought it was lame
But I really liked it. I think if you really enjoyed Matrix 1-3 then this is a worthy continuation. Was it perfect? No! Was it a good time? Yes! :)
World's Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji (2020)
Amazing from start to finish
Really fantastic show, I loved every second of it. Really got to know a lot of the teams well And get invested in their story even though there are so many. The editing was amazing, huge congrats to everybody on the crew who made it possible. :)
Nakitai watashi wa neko o kaburu (2020)
Loved it, great story and fantastic characters
I adore this movie. I watched the Netflix English dub and the voice cast were really great at bribing the characters to life. Add A fun story, great music, and wonderful Art and that makes it a fantastic movie :)!
Black Hollywood: 'They've Gotta Have Us' (2018)
Really informative, great storytelling
I work in film but I never went to film school so any time there is a great piece of cinema history that's usually something I'm into. This popped up on Netflix and I sat down to watch an episode and ended up watching all 3 episodes. It's a great piece and it added a lot of depth to movies I have seen, and gave me a list of movies to go check out, knowing more of the story behind them.
The Clapper (2017)
