The story is a little bit difficult to follow due to the jumps forth and back in time but at the end the scenes look more and more connected and logical. Time itself is one of the main characters in the movie. Throughout the whole movie I had the feeling how the couple wastes precious time instead of being happy together. At the end they are finally happy together but (of couse) now the resource time has finished. So, the characters need to find another meaning in their existence, in the logic of the world. Another masterpiece from Paolo Genovese which is worth a watch. The actors are very good as well.

A touching story

Today I watched the movie as part of the festival Cinelibri in Sofia and I am quite sure that the film touched emotionally everybody in the theatre. I cried several times throughout the film.
It makes you ponder on the eternal questions for the point of living and the pursuit of happiness.
Genovese uses the music as another character in the movie giving it a critical role. Another intreseting fact is that some of the actors star also in other movies he has directed.
During the discussion in the movie theatre Genovese mentioned that he has on purpuse skipped to include in the film the first day of the lives of the characters, so this is something which differs the film from the book.
In conclusion: Definitely worth watching, psychological drama with a few comedy moment.

This is a movie with a very interesting cinemathigraphy and long scenes. Its colors are dark as it is the mood of the film. A lot of violence, death, humiliation, but at the same time also an attempt for a normal life, hope for the future and even love.
Some of the scenes were unnecessarily long but at some point the viewer gets used to that.

Very personal movie which really touches you

This movie is not an ordinary movie for a concert. It is much more. We are took to see what is happening behind the scenes in a very personal way. Although I really love the way Michael sings, I couldn't wait to see what the film will be telling us in between the songs from the concert. There are stories about the team who is working on the realization of the concerts. The movie captures the jokes which Michael makes during the concert and they reveal him as a very good person and an amazing artist. After watching this movie I realized how many sacrifices are made by the whole tour crew to make a tour happen. Definitely recommend seeing this movie!
