Reacher (2022)
Some of my brain cells died
"Reacher" fails to captivate with its lackluster storyline, leaving viewers questioning the vitality of their brain cells after enduring its predictable narrative. The show's attempt at suspense often falls flat, with unrealistic scenes that strain the boundaries of believability. While action enthusiasts might find moments of enjoyment, the overall execution caters more to a teenage audience, particularly those around 16 years old, rather than appealing to a broader spectrum of viewers. The series struggles to strike a balance between engaging storytelling and maintaining a sense of realism, resulting in a disappointment for those seeking a more sophisticated and intellectually stimulating viewing experience. Despite its potential, "Reacher" misses the mark, leaving much to be desired in terms of plot intricacy and character development.
Dumb Money (2023)
So much potential...
"Dumb Money" ventures into the fascinating world of the Gamestop saga, a subject ripe with potential. However, the film struggles to fully harness this potential due to its storyline.
The choice of Gamestop as the central theme is a strong one, offering a window into the dynamics of modern finance and the influence of online communities. This aspect provides the film with a solid foundation and captivates the audience's interest.
Yet, where "Dumb Money" falters is in its execution. The narrative lacks depth, leaving characters feeling one-dimensional and the storyline somewhat unfulfilled. This missed opportunity to delve deeper into the complexities of the events at hand leaves the viewer wanting more.
On a positive note, the film boasts impressive cinematography and production quality. The visuals effectively convey the tension and excitement surrounding the Gamestop phenomenon, enhancing the overall viewing experience.
In summary, "Dumb Money" possesses a compelling premise but falls short in its storytelling. While the subject matter is captivating, the execution leaves something to be desired. It's a film with great potential that ultimately misses the mark.
Depp V Heard (2023)
Let's the man who won look bad
The director, a woman, didn't just show the facts, the many facts live on tv, that Amber lied, e.g. She goes on a tv show 1 day after she claimed she got severly beaten, what was by far the clearest indicator that she lied (by the way, no signs on her face; oh right, she used ice).
Your job is to show the facts. A man had suffered extremely because of her many lies, and, many women are not believed anymore because of her lies. Thanks Ms. Emma Cooper.
Then you go out and show his text messages. But you forget to mention that she refused to give access to her messages. Why is that?
You, Ms. Cooper, did not show all the times Amber contradicted herself. Bad documentary.
Black Bird (2022)
Liked it a lot
Great story, never boring. And the man playing Larry Hall: Wow, what a performance.
Crazy that is more or less an accurate true story.
Had to binge watch because it was so thrilling.
Web of Make Believe: Death, Lies and the Internet (2022)
Meh...
Episodes 1, 4, 5 and 6 were good.
Episode 2 was terrible. Who cares how news corporations handle such a case? Especially Fox News...
Didn't watch Episode 3 based on already bad reviews. Couldn't take another bad episode after Episode 2.
WeCrashed (2022)
Rebeccas part is too big and boring
First two episodes were great bit the third one, very boring. Why do these producers always have to sneak in boring side stories? Who cares about Rebeccas family and Rebecca? We are obviously here for the WeWork story. Otherwise would have 8 stars.
Bad Vegan: Fame. Fraud. Fugitives. (2022)
Not worth my time
I had to stop in the middle of the 2. Episode. I mean, I got it, how many times from how many different people do I have to hear that he was sketchy? Repetition over repetition without any thrill, any interesting story. So not at all comparable to the Tindler Swindler.
American Underdog (2021)
Not a sports movie
I was expecting a great underdog football story. Instead it was a love story, and really, that part was way too long and boring. It could have been something great, like the run to the super bowl. What a shame.
You (2018)
Season 1 and 2 great, Season 3 not so much, season 4 bad
I was obsessed with the first two seasons. But Season 3 was just boring. Too much wife, too many boring side stories, annoying characters like the social media woman with her husband. And also too many really unrealistic scenes.
After the first episode of Season 4, I had to quit. I mean, come on, who wrote this stuff? Aren't you reading the script and thinking: Man, this stuff is just too unrealistic, too boring. Joe gets a new identity from a hired guy who just wants to quit, he is now a professor, there is a dead guy on his table, nobody is looking for him, who cares about all this? Just meh.
Trial 4 (2020)
I wish It was shorter
They really put in too many side stories that are boring. The case is so interesting, but all the side stories, unimportant information, made it boring sometimes.
Tenet (2020)
I had to leave...
...in the middle of the movie. Nolan is one of my favourites, but he doesn't know where to draw the line. I could not enjoy the movie because I had to explain to myself what is going on in the movie, it was too confusing.
Mindhunter (2017)
Season 2 too much boring stuff
I had to fast forward scenes with the son and Wendys relationship. Just boring and a waste of time. Season 1 was great.
