A Disaster
15 February 2023
A disaster.

Francesca Archibugi, Paolo Giordano and Francesco Piccolo with their silly, predictable and politically correct screenplays, where everything is forced and ridiculously leftist, are destroying the credibility of the best Italian director, the only heir to true Italian comedy. The actors try to believe in the series of platitudes proposed by the script but then give in.

I hope that Virzì will leave this group and return to the arms of Francesco Bruni with whom he has made his best films.

Virzì achieves greatness when he mixes comedy and drama by recounting his Livorno and Tuscany. She should dare to go back to the small but significant. A very good one to Claudia Pandolfi.

The Last of Us: Infected (2023)

Nothing on the screen
30 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Except for the initial ten minutes, the first episode runs slowly, without any surprises. Everything is as you think it could be in a videogame adaptation. Banal and boring. If this is the first episode, the one that should catch on , I'am afraid that the other episodes will be stuffed with a lot of already seen and monotonous cliches. The photography of the first scene, the interview in the television program, rich and extremely refined clashes with the flatness of the photography of the scenes in the quarantine camp. Even the few special effects are poor. A product designed exclusively for the audience of players of the most successful video game.

Awful!
19 December 2021
Ridiculous. In the frantic search for exaggerated originality, all the stereotypes of the modern, youthful and contemporary are staged. A bleak picture of the creative poverty of some American productions. How sad!

Episodic storytelling. The movie is supported by a wonderful photography and sets, but the narration is continuously interrupted by the acting's changements: the actors are not well mixed and the different way of acting and dialect's accents become troublesome. it could have been a great movie but not...

An embarrassing movie that want be satirical but result is just ridiculous. How can a director like Marco Risi and a producer like Andrea Occhipinti produce something so cheap?
