Memento (2000)
Display Format
Too bad so many Producers and Directors fail big when choosing film format. Most folks are streaming films today or viewing network films on their TV at home and the 2.35 to 1 format isn't correct for 16.9 TV displays.
Please use the 185.1 or 16.9 format.
Extraction (2015)
Written, Produced and Directed By 16 Year Olds
Acting terrible, music crap and almost every scene predictable from past films. I wouldn't classify this as a film but more of a TV sit com with a long play time. Barely a C rated flick. Bruce even was brought down by the direction and overall scene props. No acting time allowed in this one as most of the scenes are 2 to 5 seconds with zero script and mostly sound effects while the acting tries to impress and communicate via cool moves supposedly from CIA agents and FBI or similar while thugs of sorts give up over little. I'm rather surprised that the great actor himself bothered to make this film especially based on his past films. Possibly the star is not so sure of his worth these days.
Prison Break (2005)
A Few Improvements Needed
Great entertainment however, I got very tired of the many cell phone calls they could make in the middle of no where such as, the middle of the desert.
Another convenience the writers needed improvement on were the many telephone booths everyone seemed to have access to. Those phone booths are not around in those numbers these days.
Continuous attempts to reach out to wives, family and girl friends when the cons are well aware those people would be under surveillance got old because they should have known better since they were so smart about other things.
Jesse Stone: Night Passage (2006)
Not Sure On Sequential Order Of Titles
Stone Cold is shown as the original or first title released 2005. Then, comes Night Passage the following year 2006. His first dog Boomer is in the second release as Jesse travels from L.A. to MA while the first release of Stone Cold includes his second dog Reggie who he adopted from a murder victim. In addition, Abby is featured in Stone Cold, the first release where she is murdered then, the second release entitled Night Passage, Abby stars with Jesse and carries out a relationship with him. Are we in agreement on this I hope? I prefer to watch these "out of order" as the story line follows best.
All of these titles are wonderful. The director, music and the no rushed scenes with great story lines of clear content which paves a clear story onto the next title.
