Endless search for Love - an amazing story
4 December 2023
This is an amazing story of exploring self and endless search for love. The dialogs, the sincere struggles and fears to express self, and share an emerging bond while recognizing how special to actually "feel" have been flawlessly put together. Bruno and Alex are perfectly crafted beautiful people who defines and redefines love in the purest form. They remind us valuable lessons about life. Do not assume, experience what you feel, and share your true feelings everytime and all the time. I fell in love with how the love itself flourished between Bruno and Alex, and especially how it was experienced with flaws and merits all together. You will watch them, and you will watch them again.

Godzilla (2014)

(2) Mother is dead, father blames himself. Son has no idea what is happening. (check)

(3) Father studies secretly to solve the mystery behind his beloved wife's death. Son develops daddy-issues, thinks dad is going crazy, never listens to him. (check)

(4) Flash-forward. (check)

(5) Son is a young-adult and married. He is a soldier serving his country, she is a nurse/doctor/caregiver (anyone works in a hospital).. oh an they have a kid. (duh... check)

Boys save the day, girls are ladies-in-distress. Warm hugs, telepathically understanding looks, emotional kisses. THE END.

Godzilla? Yes, there is Godzilla fighting against some other parasitical creatures. The real hero. Anyways. I love Godzilla, the creature. What I don't like is terrible acting and poor plot development. I am disappointed.

Noah (2014)
A story on two young boys seeking wives.. wait what?
8 July 2014
Warning: Spoilers
OK. This story, or movie, is supposed to tell the story of Noah and his mission right? Divine assignment, selfless duty, collecting animals, building the arc etc. What I see is a heavily gender biased story of men fighting for whatever they always fight for: food, women and survival.

In a post-apocalyptic geography, a family with three boys finds a girl who was wounded severely; the man receives a message from the creator and the story proceeds. Everything set. When you remove the layers of corruption and destruction, the plot is pretty much simple.

However, the enthusiasm on finding wives for the boys overwhelmingly regulates the entire motivation of the family. First boy is lucky, they already found the wounded girl (Emma Watson is chosen to lure the young boys/girls to the theater), the second boy wants one for himself and develop daddy-issues since there is no one available (well he literally sneaked in other peoples' private camp to grab one, yet nope!), third is too young to think about sex or reproduction. Anyways, the movie ends soon after the natural disaster and Emma gives birth to twin sisters whom will be wives of someone, may be the third kid? I don't know.

The point is, there is no historic-mythical-story-telling or any good acting at all to admire and enjoy. None. I am highly disappointed.

The Walking Dead: Prey (2013)
Season 3, Episode 14
Andrea goes for the half-marathon ... yet too late.
17 March 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Well I thought my heart will stop beating when I held my breath for 10 minutes while eating my nails of course during the time when Andrea and the Governor were inside a damn building packed with walkers. What a scene!!! Not so predictable yet here it was. While some morality ups-and-downs are going on in the town, *big spoiler* Governor captures Andrea just on time before her voice would be heard by Rick and a couple of not-so-friendly walkers in the open field. Well well... guess where she would end: The comfy torture chair of our one-eyed-king of the town.

Now what? PS. Martinez!! I thought you might become a decent man! *sigh*

Being Human (2011–2014)
Unexpectedly GREAT show
15 January 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Amazingly entertaining show for everyone. A good combination of supernatural characters in one house is a brilliant idea. They just want to be as normal as possible and we experience their struggles with life. It is so much fun to watch all three. Plus, the actors and actresses are very talented. Josh (Sam H.) is my favorite and I personally met with Sam Witwer who is quite a humble and funny guy. I love them all. I think everyone should seriously consider watching the episodes. The content is decent and both the action and drama are well presented. I was about to cry in the 2nd season ep.12. Well, I highly recommend this series for everyone.

Merlin: The Diamond of the Day: Part Two (2012)
Season 5, Episode 13
Screwing up an amazing story in one hour
24 December 2012
Warning: Spoilers
I just want to mention one thing: this is the most awful finale I have ever seen. The writers critically destroyed the epic story of Merlin and Arthur in one hour. I cannot believe this. I do not want to admit this. I even find that offensive as a spectator and a sincere fan.

How can one kill all the main characters in a couple of minutes? Mordered.. BAM, Morgana.. BAM. Arthur ?? He SHOULD have survived! His understanding of Merlin being a sorcerer is developed through the episode which I found flawless, so emotional, but he didn't survive! COME ON! That cannot be the end! Dragon's words like "he will be remembered" cannot be accepted as an explanation, I cannot buy it. Seeing Merlin in today's world is simple BS! I am so sorry for the words I pick. But that is it.

I will erase the ending from my mind tomorrow. And will remember my own. Arthur survives and Merlin is announced as the official magician + magic will not be prohibited any more.

Teen Wolf (2011–2017)
Another Surprisingly Addictive Series
19 November 2012
Don't judge this series from the title. Please simply don't. There are various potential open to further interpretation and this piece is fantastically fun! I think the producers should seriously think about updating the "name" though. Now Watch and Love!!

1. The story line is pretty much satisfying in the first season. And definitely improves in the second. Great potential awaits.

2. Amazing actors/actresses are discovered. Especially Dylan O'Brien (Stiles). He is awesome. Both Tyler s (Derek and Scott) are good including the rest of the folks.

3. The tension and curiosity manipulations and surprise effects works wonderfully.

4. Characters do develop through the second season. They become more appealing and sincere.

5. Writers do not bore people with unnecessarily kept secrets (like Merlin who hides his ID for 5 seasons from Arthur... *sigh*)

6. Most importantly, this show makes you want to be a part of it. A part of that world, their world. This is important.

Are you still here??? Go and start watching.

A huge massacre for the cartoon, a huge torture for the audience
16 November 2011
Is there a 0 in the votes to give? Or a minus? I have absolutely no idea how M. Night Shyamalan still shoots movies. How could his crew watched and approved during this horrible.. (gah I cannot find words) disastrous application? Now we know how a wonderfully produced amazing cartoon could be annihilated by the hands of a director.

The cast is terrible. The most important scenes and stories what make avatar, the avatar are missing. No sense of humor, no sense of ...nothing.. There is barely anything that could be named "good" in this disaster. We need a hero to protect the rest of the show from this horrible director.

Legend of the Seeker (2008–2010)
One of the most surprising, entertaining and addictive fantasy
14 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
When I first saw the poster, I was ready for an average fantasy with a male warrior hero and a sorceress but still curious. Even watching the first episode I was about to be sure with the addition of a crazy old man figure. Nevertheless my curiosity increased. However, apart from the books which I haven't read yet, the series surprised me in many aspects. I loved every single episode but it is sad that we have only 2 seasons. Briefly,

The world and the characters, especially the primary actors and the actress appeared to be flawless. Second and may be the most interesting part for me, there was something more, something like a special sparkle about how they represented the love between the main characters, it was so "more" than real that I really really enjoyed every moment and felt more close to them. The old, wise and funny wizard who is one of a kind is another special feature. Good combats and good variety of wizardry made everything more interesting. So without relating to the books, I think that series become so addictive for me that I am absolutely sad that it was only 2 seasons.
