We've seen this all before of course. Infected people infect the I infected and society collapses etc. It is done very well here although there is a flaw that I fear it will not be able to overcome. That flaw is they unlike in the video game, the main characters cannot die. This means that there is no tension to propel the plot along as you are aware that what ever is thrown at them; however tense the music gets; however much they scream; they WILL get through this. After all, if they don't the series ends. The interest so far (episode 2 as I write) lies in how the infected are portrait. So far we have had couple of good descriptions and a "cauliflower head".

So, a solid survivor plot with no real peril. It's hard to see how real tension can be generated here.

A lot of documentary programs have music over the intro and this was no different. Once the first part started the music stopped - for a few minutes maybe - then, to my dismay, it started up again. I don't need music over people talking, especially since this is not a drama. It was at best intrusive and at worst distracting. I just had to give up on it as it was just too much.

In factual programming, if people are talking then let them talk. I have no interest in the music (for the record I am a musician). By all means, drown out the singer. It will be good for their inflated egos. Most of them are a load of old rubbish anyway :)

I'm guessing people are scared to mark this down. The acting is TERRIBLE. The direction is TERRIBLE. Casting is TERRIBLE. Really really bad. Hollywood needs to start making entertainment again.

My guess is that they are dedicated to people rich enough to afford the insurance .

Her husband is right to get rid of her. What an awful woman. I was rooting for Rusty all the way.

Really good story BUT why do all the characters have to look so guilty every time they do anything dodgy :))

Seriously though, well worth your time.

Not a movie to be texting and tweeting to. This needs to be watched and absorbed. Slow burn and brilliant.

What could have been a great episode is ruined by yet another heavy handed message, this time immigration gets it's turn

....and here is the "men bad - women good" episode. This one is the worse so far on SO many levels

Apart from the glaringly obvious fact that these fragile flowers would be the last people you'd send to Mars, not a bad episode at all

Probably the most like a classic Twilight Zone episode so far. I fear it may be a highlight as the seem unable to resist PC twaddle

Interesting premise and good story. Let down by slightly laboured direction. Cut this down to 30 minutes and it would be great.

This one is like an old Twilight Zone episode. Dark ending and all. Pretty good effort.

If you have seen the trailer for this movie and hit put you off then then you are not alone. Without giving away plots and spoilers it is difficult to describe but see it despite the marketing. You will be missing out of you don't.

I enjoy a horror flick and this one actually made me jump a few times. It is creepy and there are some genuine scares in there. A solid effort.

Wow. That was 3 hours? It flew. Great storytelling, great acting, great action. Nothing more to say.

An old style movie that could have been made in the 60's (except for the annoying mobile phone use)

A good if not great piece of cinema

Not the "teen slasher, here comes the surprise, oh is that it?" fare we usually have to endure as horror fans. This is a horror movie for grown ups.

I'll say no more other than go and see it.

Dear Captain, looking miserable and clenching your fists does not make you look strong it makes you look constipated. Also, producers, when casting an action movie, don't pick someone with a funny run. The funniest since Roger Moore.

Horrible cartoon graphics, and a story that goes all over the place yet is ultimately pointless and predictable, make this the superhero movie that makes Green Lantern look good.

I suspect that this one was thrown into the mix because End Game is coming and there weren't enough female Avengers. We can't have a man saving the world can we? Hahahahahaha

This is a fun sequel to the delightfully crazy Happy Death Day. We know what happened. Now we get to know why. I don't think it is quite as good as the first one as it repeats the formula, but that's the point really isn't it?

I didn't think children's films like this were made any more. No toy or computer game tie-ins, just a familiar story turned into a fun filled romp. If a trip through the Arthurian legend sounds good to you then this will fit the bill

I saw the 3D version and it is the best looking 3D I've seen. Stunning. As for the plot, it's cyberpunk "business as usual", and a bit convoluted, but the visuals will keep you interested if the plot doesn't.

Horribly anti-English, wildly innacurate and acting that would disgrace a daytime soap. The producer even managed to tick all the diversity boxes. Quite a feat in a historical drama. Worst film of the last year, and I have seen loads. Worse than Widows, and that take a some doing!
